Big Whoooop !!!!!!!!

Re: llss diesels ky invitational January 12, 2023 01:25AM
Diesels definitely dominated, results prove it, be interesting at Shipshewana this weekend on the long track,TNT raised their weight again, it's now 6250lbs, gonna be along summer for alcohol tractors. Congratulations !!!!

Re: llss diesels ky invitational January 12, 2023 05:28AM
This class is like comparing an Apple to an Orange. No matter what you do they will never taste the same . But what makes this class fun and interesting is that we are all fruit.

Re: llss diesels ky invitational January 12, 2023 01:17PM
Horse power is nothing with out weight to hook it up and control it so it’s been said 100 cubes a huge meat grinder diesels will rule once again

Re: llss diesels ky invitational January 14, 2023 01:08AM
100 cubes, big charger and aftermarket heads work well.

Re: llss diesels ky invitational January 14, 2023 02:20AM
3.4 for Diesels --- 3 inch for Alcohol .

Re: llss diesels ky invitational January 14, 2023 01:00AM
What turbo were the diesels allowed to run?

Re: llss diesels ky invitational January 14, 2023 03:31AM
On the turbo's for diesels. Depends on your association rules . Some are 3by4 smooth bore for Ecitpa , BSTP. Wtpa , and others are either 3by 4 map or 3.4by 4. And yes alcohol are 3by 4 smooth bore.

Re: llss diesels ky invitational January 15, 2023 02:19PM
Look at Shipshewana - big cubes big turbo ruining the class "can't fix stupid"

Re: llss diesels ky invitational January 16, 2023 02:17AM
Except when you dropped them down to 6000 they were all right together with 7 all right within 11 feet. Weight does more damage to that class than the turbos.

Well said pullingfan4255

Otto’s tractor January 16, 2023 01:57PM
What was Otto’s running they had a good showing in the qualifying and finals, are they big cubes or are they 410 with cooler

Re: Otto’s tractor January 16, 2023 11:10PM
Both of Otto's tractors are 410 with cooler and slotted 3 by 4 charger

How many of the WI 470 diesels are running the 3.4 charger? I bet it’s not as many as you think

Re: llss diesels ky invitational January 18, 2023 05:53AM
why not in this class can't an alcohol run twin chargers if they ran the small cubes with no intercooler? Would that not be fair as well?

twin chargers January 18, 2023 09:46AM
The small cube with twin chargers should be allowed 6" of total turbo. Divide them up however you see fit & the cubes should be 310 alky or diesel.

Re: twin chargers January 18, 2023 01:19PM
Kinda like that thought.

CP

Re: twin chargers January 19, 2023 12:52AM
So are you still allowing the 1%? A D312 on alky with twins might just be one hell of a ride!

Re: twin chargers January 19, 2023 04:10AM
twin 3x4's will not work. a 3.25 into a 2.75 would tho

Re: twin chargers January 19, 2023 01:05AM
Pulling doesn’t like rules that make sense! That’s probably the best post made on Llss in a long time!

Re: twin chargers January 19, 2023 02:31AM
I proposed the idea of 315 cubic inch twin 3x4 turbos on original spark ignition engines. Thinking it would work, but certainly not a "hill I'm going to die on."

T he big turbo big cube diesels are going to ruin the class if its let go on and not stopped soon, I had to brag on them because i tried to warn the class exactly what big turbos big cubes and weight is to do and it will only get worse but still congratulations to them they are playing by the rules with some super nice tractors

Greg, twin turbo chargers on any small motor is the DEVIL!!!!!! lol

Re: twin chargers January 20, 2023 11:58AM
With the size limit on the two charges one bigger will be better the two small ones will just be choked up working against each other
