I just had my 4010 go down the track and near the end there was a snap . When I tried to back up to the sled the engine labored and the tractor did not move.All the forward gears seem ok.Any suggestions before I tare into it? 3-400 hp

Stock tranny? It goes into and moves in all the forward gears, just not reverse?

Yes,It goes in the reverse slot but won't move just pulls down the motor,just curious where to start looking.Its the older 4010 with the stock light axles.

Hard to say, but my guess would be something on top shaft if all forward gears work. Pull the top cover off transmission and take a look at the top shaft is all I can tell ya. Good luck.

could also be A-range has seized to differential drive shaft.
