So... how much difference in horsepower is there between a 4.1 LPS, 5.0 PS, and a regular Pro Stock? |

1- the pro stock 6+turbo&cooler-4500hp
2-5.0 pro stock-3500hp 3-4.1 pro stock-2500hp 4-3.0 8500 limited pro-1500hp These are real numbers give or take a few hp but very accurate to go by |

Cc you are correct I couldn’t change the blinker fluid in a muffler bearing without watching a you tube video first , BUT I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night! |

Average Cc’s
|
Cc, your average’s with exception to the 466 class are about right for mid pack tractors hp wise. For instance you are 500 low on prostocks and 300 or better low on 4.1’s.
Probably what triggered CP…. |

Then tell us what’s the “real numbers” let me guess big pros are making 6500 hp right let’s see a dyno sheet of each one since you all know so much but won’t say anything |

Agree

Those hp numbers are real close to what I've been told by several pullers that own one.. |

NO ONE answered if his spread was correct.
I'm saying he is right on with the power spread. I'm also saying he is giving REAL WORLD numbers on a correctly set dyno, not one "Adjusted" to give inflated numbers to impress the customer that just paid over a quarter million for an engine. ALSO, the spread is why at ALL NTPA GN pulls, MINIMUM turbo size in the GN P.S. class needs to be 5.1" |

What is your reasoning for wanting minimum turbo size in GN PS? Not disagreeing, just wondering. Do you feel they slow the show down? Is the class too big because of all the so called “class filler”tractors with no chance? Do you think they screw the road that gets built sometimes and the rest of the class is bogged? Or do you just like the newer Mini rule where there is a minimum to pull GN. |

All of your points are valid.
The crowd doesn't pay to watch class fillers. There is no dispute that the short horsepower tractors needlessly tear up the track. Examples are the 4.1's at BG spinning holes in the track at 200, when real pro stocks are spinning in at 340+. |

1400 will catch most 8500's |
Re: Horsepower difference - 4.1, 5.0, and true Pro Stock

1206 prostock

I would say Cc is very close. Shelton's posted a ride along video from one of their pulls saying 4500HP.
I would say a true LT. Pro stock would be in the 27-2800 +/- neighborhood maybe? that's based off of what I've been told from a very strong running Lt Pro stock puller from OSTPA. Thats with a Red Riverside engine as well. ![]() |

I will agree the 27-2800 is likely the most of the "True Light Pros" however I know some elite light pros that are north of 3000. Just sayin. |

Well CP my comments about Hp have quite a bit of back up comments looks to me like I was right? Like I said these are real number from real engines on a real dyno ..if you only knew what you thought you knew ![]() |

Doesn't matter how much any of them make, who kares, just enjoy the ride, figure out the balance, weights gears, drive the darned thing, highest power does not mean always winning. |
