Last year we ate at the Wedgewood Brewing Company in Middlebury on Saturday between the afternoon and evening sessions. Food was good and the beer was cold. We also had no wait for a table so it worked out well. Brought a free sticker home for the shop fridge too.

Shipshewana. At intersection of US 20 and IN 5 is the "5 & 20 Country Kitchen". I've been there only once but the Saturday morning breakfast buffet was enjoyable.

And true food enjoyment is the downtown Shipshewana Bluegate Theatre downstairs big room restuarant that features a big spread of quality buffet daily. The all day long Saturday buffet is super!

However, be aware of the impending very ugly weather forecast. Weather for Thurs. 11th is tolerable unlike Fri. & Sat. with a forecasted 12" snow (1" rain equivalent) with steady wind in the 20's mph with gust to 45. Wind chills Fri hover about 20 degrees whereas Sat all day is in single digits. And for those homebound on Sunday, temperatures continue to deteriorate! In my book, not favorable tractor pulling weather.
National Weather service 6 day forecast, hour by hour can be found at forecast.weather.gov and then type in whatever town you want. I make my livelihood outdoors and I plan by and live by their forecast.

If you plan and live by the forecast, you should know that 12" is the worst case scenario being put out at this time.

However, it is winter in the midwest and we have braved far worse both at Ship and Gordyville. If you decide to stay home though, you can go to www.whatssmokin.net and order the livestream. It's as good as a ticket and goes right to the promoter as if you were there. Personally, I hope all opt to be there with us.

See everyone in the morning!

With what the ugly late week (Fri & Sat) forecast is, all I did was let the readers know about it in case they want to change their plans for the sake of Personal Safety, not sabotage. But Ryan, you sure are a specialist in sabotaging a person's fine reputation! Do we have to go through that again? What did I ever do to you? I know what you have done to me. I will be glad to accept your apologies.
And Charles, when has the weather been worse at Shipeshe than what is predicted. NWS has currently toned down the snow forecast to 1/2 as compared to this AM when I made the post. But that is also why I gave a link so anyone can check in on the forecast for themself. If you people want to endure the weather, that is your choice. Some may not and that is their choice. All I did was give a heads up. I figured it would be appreciated by the readers. But not surprising that Ryan has to have his snide remarks again.
And how is it sabotage when I recommended 2 excellent Shipshe restaurants that are only a fraction of a mile from the MEC?

Multiple screen names don’t aggregate a “fine reputation”, sport. I’ll tell ya what, though, they sure can combine to destroy one.

Stop trying to throw a show under the bus just because you don’t like the way your signs were torn down. You never asked, and you treated some of the staff like garbage. Not a flattering look, pal, and you brought that on yourself.
