John Deere 466
|
I have a john Deere 4630 that I have put a 466 in with a 55 series head , SX 300 turbo, heavier valve springs ,55 series pistons and a cam from riverside engine .FVP A pump set a 500 cc of fuel can go to 560cc and 3000 rpm . What pump timing would everyone run at 32 degrees now . Makes 75 psi boost at the manifold. Pull in D3 / D4 no speed restrictions where I pull . Looking for a bit more out of the old girl if someone can help . Thanks |

32 degrees is not far off, might try to get a good set of injectors, 5 hole 20s is a good set. |

They make one with a bigger inlet than that. If you want bigger you could always go gt42 or s400 |

There are several inlet sizes in the S300 line.
62mm 63mm 64mm 66mm 68mm 69mm 72mm |

We are limited to a 58mm inlet so have to have a slug fitted |

Sounds like you have a lot of the right pieces to the puzzle. I ran a similar set up for a few years in a 8-12mph classes (9500lbs -13500lbs.). I would recommend putting it on an engine dyno and tuning it in from there, Sometimes that's the cheapest horsepower you can buy..... Good luck |
