Does anyone pull an Allis Chalmer D19 if so what did you do to make rear end stronger.

Terry Woods who ran the NTPA light class years ago with an IH 3688, started out with a D19. I have no idea how he had beefed it up, so basically no help.

There's a guy that ran one in Armada, Michigan fair a few years ago but I can't remember his name, Charles Pouche ( hope I spelled that right ) would be a good one to contact, he probably knows him, him and Andrew were the announcers at that time.

That was David Dick from Freedom, NY in LLSS. You'd have to ask him as far as the particulars there as I have no clue. He is on FB.

I may be able to help if i knew what class if its LLSS or above spend a lot of cash on it or junk it , its pretty wll the same as a 185

My D17 llss was originally a 180 that I switched sheet metal. It has a 301 block with 2 turbos, the only thing in the block that is OEM is the crankshaft. The transmission and rear end is all original 180, I run direct but that is really too slow if a gear ratio. Andy Dick
