I know this has been talked about before. Can a 466 deere run ok on 12-1 or 13-1 compression? Repalcing the original head with a 55 series. Have been told need to change pistons. We are just running farm stock or cheater farm stock as my neighbor calls it. We don't have any turbo limits. Thanks |

It should run, but I'd say that's a little low for a single turbo. |

That is too low for a single charger setup it will run but you are giving up a lot of torque. |

What would the ideal compression ratio be for a single turbo, 3000 rpm class? What is the stock 55 series piston comp. |

the 55 and 60 pistons are different from the 40 and 50 pistons and a 30 piston is smaller |

cropdamage either asked or said all deere 466 pistons are the same, at least the way I read the post. So I just clarified, however the 30 series is a 404 and has a smaller piston and the 55 and 60 pistons are different. Sorry |
