Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 13, 2010 03:28PM
Yes, Mont Alto is like 15 miles from shippensburg and it is a nice place to pull on Saturday night. Hughesville on friday night isn't to far from State college not sure on the milage, its not a very good track though but a nice place and its also a fair pull.

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 14, 2010 11:51AM
Hughesville is about an hour and half from State College. This is usually a really good pull, at least it is always a favorite of our local pullers. Like Curt said the track is not the best, but there is usually a pretty good turn out of equipment. Directions to the fair grounds can be had on the Lycoming County Fair Page.

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 15, 2010 07:45AM
what are the rules for light limited turbo ? Are p pumps allowed? call with info or contact # for info. Fair page only has office #.
Thanks Floyd Isbell 570 637-1311

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 15, 2010 01:54PM
I got my answer. No p pumps, I guess it makes too much power with a 3 inch turbo!!

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 15, 2010 02:01PM
Floyd feel free to come pull in the 8000 open, the light limited guys have done that more than once. I am sure your extra horsepower will help you out.

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 15, 2010 02:07PM
Now you know any A pump will run with your p pump !!!! They won't check you unless you beat'em !!!! I agree with Tyler come on down and pull the 8000 open.

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 15, 2010 02:26PM
I would like to come pull with the big dogs with my old out dated tractor. I don't want to take my tractor for a ride on my trailer, I would like some sort of guarantee i can pull.

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 15, 2010 02:32PM
You can pull the 8 open but the 7700 light limited you need the a pump but I think they should let you hook anyhow because your p pump will never beat an a !!!!! will it ? lol

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 15, 2010 02:39PM
My wallet isn't big enough to win...I need about 200 more horse power to compete.Back in the early 90'S my 466 could run with hoyts, now it would beat him if he were running on 4 cylinders! I thought the open 8000 was non turbo.

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 15, 2010 04:03PM
Floyd if you look on Interstate website they have the rules listed. Hoyt usually pulls in the 12000 open. The 8 open you have some mods and some diesel tractors[turbo] also. You might be surprised how you might do in the class. The more the better hope to see you there.

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 16, 2010 01:57PM

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 16, 2010 02:00PM
Do most guys not run both farm stock speed limit classes (6 and 10mph)? There is also like a pro farm 3000 rpm class correct? How many tractors usually run in the farm classes?

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 16, 2010 02:08PM

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 16, 2010 02:10PM

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 16, 2010 03:50PM
See the results for yourself: [www.steelcitypullers.org]
Can always use more tractors out there, especially in the heavier speed limit classes.

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 17, 2010 06:19AM
oliver1655 is correct need more tractors in alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll classes not just speed limit

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 15, 2010 04:27PM
Ok what is the answer to your riddle, if its green and it wins? Is it a cucumber at maybe a state fair? Or maybe the Philadelphia eagles though they don't win that often. Lets see green and wins???

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 15, 2010 10:35PM
It's an International with a bad color choice of paint!!

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 16, 2010 07:00AM
ha floyd trucks are red tractors are greennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 17, 2010 02:28PM
I went to Penn Yan NY. Good turn out and some strong running tractors. Randy Weavers tractor ran super strong..
Maybe Hughsville pa pull will allow p pumps in the light limited turbo classes next year. I can't see a p pump working any better than an A pump with three inch turbo.

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 17, 2010 04:58PM
Or you could switch to an a-pump like everyone else had to do,

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 18, 2010 01:03AM
George looks like you have a hard time spelling do they have a school out there in avella

Re: Looking for pulls in PA this week July 18, 2010 09:52AM
