Same here, chrome on my phone doesn't work, but an alternate browser does. I sent a PM to one of the Morgan's, no response.

I've never been to an indoor pull other than antiques, nor do I have a roll cage tractor. Is there a reason the alcohol tractors can't use the smoke tube?

For antiques, $100 first place is a "good, above average" payout. At that rate if we win we can at least cover the fuel in the pickup to get there and back. Do I want them to be higher? Absolutely but I also understand that antiques are not a spectator sport. This is a hobby, how much prize money is there at the local RZR drive around?

Very, very weird.
Next question... how would they know?
The overwhelming majority wouldn't. Its a well accepted practice for recruiters to omit any kind of medical history when the recruit is in the process of enlisting. Its less paperwork for them. I enlisted in 2007 and distinctly remember the recruiter asking me if I had ever seen a doctor for anything in my life,

clutch slippage,????????????????????????? what about 10 - 20 % wheel slippage.
Wheel slippage could be 100% It doesn't change the wheel speed. As I said, that is what that formula is good for.

If you want wheel speed, Use the following formula. MPH=(Engine rpm X height of axle centerline in inches)/(overall gear ratio X 168)
This assumes no clutch slippage
Example 3000 rpm tractor with 18.4x38 tires with an axle height of 31.4 inches. Running 22:1 gear
(3000X31.4)/(22X168)= 25.49 MPH

I believe Witt's Mr Yuk is a 505 and he won Enderle in 2017 and took 2nd in 2018. If he can keep up with the opens, I would think he can keep up with the diesels.

With the discussion about track lengths and pulloffs recently, and how the upper level tractors don't want to have to come back for a pulloff due to the additional wear and tear on their equipment. I was wondering at what level tractor does the reliability decrease to the point an owner is concerned with making an extra pass now and then? As a lowly antique puller we constantly "hot lap" our

If the skids were set tighter and a bounty was set by the promoters for reaching 300 feet, I think we could have the best of both worlds. Those that broke 300 would get an extra $50-100. The fans get to see pulloffs and the competitors get an extra incentive to pull twice.
