Can't offer any help with espar setup but I worked on a 92 bus fleet with webasto heaters. Very simple and very reliable. Only general maintenance and booster pump rebuilds ($40ish for parts) They heated up very fast and used very little fuel.

I'd like to personally thank Ed Shoobridge, your hard work to grow this class has not gone unnoticed. So nice to get an opportunity to hook with guys from other areas that are still pulling for fun! I was extremely lucky to be given a tractor to run from a great family, thanks again Haier family!

I agree that the pro farm club is not what it used to be. (Some ways better, some worse, depends on perspective.) We have come a long way and still have a ways to go. Some people have lost sight of that. I did not pull with the club when it started but I have been here through most of the rapid growth. There is a place for everyone to pull now. I see no need to directly compete with each other, we

Contracts aren't due back until March first. Not much has changed in our schedule and it will be posted when we have more contracts in hand. There has been a lot of interest in the travel llss class so we may have a few addition hooks for those guys. As far as membership is concerned people can come and go as they please and pull with any club they would like too. Anyone that meets all our r

Brad would definitely be the guy to talk to about doing it with the factory tub. We built frame rails out of square tubing. Guessing we are somewhere between 4-700 depending on what setup we are running. (We usually run 3200rpm but have run open rpm classes also.)

I'm sure it will be missing a few faces, but I think it's far from dead. I know of at least 5 tractors legal for the class that will be out. As far as the new hot farm class goes it looks like they will have a good following too. Starting a new club is an ambitious task to say the least, and it's really early to pin down exact numbers for any class. I think there is room for everyo

As a past president, and current board member of the WNY profarm club, I think I speak for the majority of the club when I say we don't ever want to close the door on an outsider hooking with us. Exceptions have been made for vehicles that meet ALL safety rules and are close to our class rules. It is however something that should be talked about prior to someone showing up at an event. Many

I agree completely with your opinion Dick. Our club takes a lot of pride in the fact that we run a very fast pace show (average 60 plus vehicles in 4hrs.) I think a lot of it has to do with our level of vehicles, they aren't as finicky as some of the higher horsepower equiptment, but our guys have jobs and families to get home too, so they don't want to drag it out for no reason. Floyd you really need to take a look at our light pro farm rules (western new york pro farm) It would be less expensive long term. The 2.6 charger, small tires, and A-pump are the limiting factors. We are looking into allowing open RPMs in the future but current rules limit it to 3200 to keep the clutch components cheaper. We have a mixed bag of tractors i.e. V8's, turbo gassers, and various

We used a steel flywheel from a pickup truck clutch setup with clutch disks setup for input shaft splines (cheap and good for over 500HP.) Easy to come by with a few custom parts, I had to custom make a ring gear work due to the difference in diameter of flywheel and had a custom built shaft to run from clutch to trans. with a coupling connecting them. I encourage everyone to attend the meetings this winter. While there will be no changes to construction rules in classes we have a lot of work to do on the business side of the club. Mark has done a great job seeing this club through it's growing pains, and there are plenty more growing pains to come. Any vehicle that wants to come and pull with our club is welcome.
