There is a simple fix. The clubs should have a master tech day. Puller bring their equipment to one shop and the tech officials go through the tractor. Pullers provide an empty bolt hole in the block, to drilled head bolts in the turbo and cylinder head. After the tech officials go through the tractor they seal the motor. If at any point that seal is broken the tractor needs to be re-teched o

From what I've seen from th

I think one thing you need take into consideration is fluids under pressure vs free flowing fluids and fluids vs gasses.
Turbulent and laminar flow has to deal with viscous fluids, we are talking gasses under pressure here.

It is terrible that this happend, for both the sled operator and the tractor puller. Yes, I agree that if you're asked to bring your equipment to a show like this you should have top notch equipment that has few brakedowns. However, brake downs are inevitable.
Has anyone put thought into the fact that maybe the promotor should have had a bigger sand pile, rather than 4' off the grou

My Take, you're absolutely correct with the statement "There's no replacement for displacement," until now. The replacement is an electronic Cat. The KTA is an old dinasaur! There are many examples where a yellow engine will out perform a KTA, at all levels of pulling. Full Pull Productions PA Posse class and thier Big Rig class. Both classes are dominated by electronic Cats and Jo
