Well, if it's true that the Ross family ran the same setup at Waynesburg that they ran for the 17(I think) DSS hooks for the GN circuit, I'd say it's pretty reliable.

Gray area in the rulebook I believe. If I remember correctly, they were building it after the okay, when ATPA said it wouldn't be allowed. Was only legal for SN/GN/GA/Champions tour anyway.

All classes have a set of rules to abide by. Some choose to go to the max amount of limits that are allowed; charger limit and or size, cube limit, fuel limitation, etc. So why should those that did their homework and followed everything in the rulebook, be knocked down because those others didn't take advantage of everything that was possible?
