Couldn't agree more with the majority of your post. However to many classes is an interesting situation. I think that with the low numbers in certain national classes the organizations need to fill the numbers with 4.1, Lt. PS, LLSS, HF and on and on. The real problem [ that won't ever be solved] is the insane cubic inches that are legal in some classes. This rule has d

This post went how I figured, OP says something bad about PPL and people make excuses for them why it really wasn’t. Pretty much the exact opposite when some post about NTPA or whoever else. Not sure why PPL is on such a pedestal with this board but it’s not any better or as good as the others.

Says component superfarm too. I do get the hp issue and breakage,I do get it's easier to work on,and I do get the availability of other chassis.
But as an old fan I think doing away with the ag chassis in all classes hurts, and I know I'm in the minority.
I’d venture to say you are not in the minority! Whenever a class goes component, seems 2 more ag chassis classes develop

Sounds like they were about the same quality as the live stream commentaters other than when Bruce Slaugh was guest commentating. He was quite good. Wasn’t all tongue tied and actually only stated what he knew instead of making it up as you go

If 6 diesels go down the track competitively in either session it will be an accomplishment. I love the class but that’s what it’s come to.

Put them on a good clay track where there is some bite, and the alkys will walk all over the diesels. The alkys couldn't get it to the dirt in the southern loose tracks.
How come every time a diesel wins against the alcohol tractors, the excuse makers come out of the woodwork? It's a crappy track, or the air density, or the alcohol tractors all broke, or Louisvill

Pretty much any of the Diesel supers that actually attempt to run a whole grand national season could win at any time pulling with the spark plugs. Travis, Lock n Load crew, Blagraves, Esdon have stated numerous times they have no interest in running a whole season together. They might not have a choice if they can’t get their class to have more than 3 or 4 make competitive pass at each event. I

Some take aways I have after the The Pullers Championship
1. Very well run event. Kept things moving quickly even though there was a fair amount of breakage. Looked like a solid turnout and the payout looked solid as well. Kudos to the team who put on the event.
2. The Simon team just might dominate the NTPA as a whole this season. Simon Sez mod is on a winning streak that has

The SSD trucks aren’t a gold class by any means, not sure where it’s growing at because it’s not for NTPA or west of Ohio and Indiana. DSS is still the most requested promoter class even with its poor numbers so it’s the standard for tractor classes in my opinion.

It never worked for me either. Watched part of one class Thursday and then went off air. Got a notification this morning saying it cleared to watch finally. What good is that, missed 1/2 the show. I bought the whole weekend pass. I requested a refund, said it’d take 7-10 days but were to cancel the subscription immediately. Amazing how they could get that done right away but not get it connected.

If Yeager plans to run 2 that will be good to see…I’ve heard that Headleys are building a Cummins powered truck to give Binder Edition a running mate.
TAP…they would start out in the SSDFWD class with OSTPA, PPL or NTPA or RWYB like class with FPP, PPP or CS
I can promise you one thing, If Matt Headley is building another truck, you can take it to the bank that it will

There was 1,red pro at the farm show with a big block in it, you all act like they all have them. You can count on one hand how many there is in the whole country. On the other hand tally up every thing else that’s running a 400 series under their hoods. Get over it, yes it’s a stupid rule and I don’t like it. Until Rob Russel put one in pro stock it was a moot point when everyone else was puttin

Pretty cool to see the red motors take the top 3 in prostock Saturday night…… oh wait it was all green again.
My fault, Maybe another time red guys lol.
You green people only crow about one class it seems. Where are you in the super class, oh wait you don’t even have one to hope for on that class. The green hoods have red engines in them. Just like the announcers, they didn’t sa

They probably couldn’t get the crow out of their mouth. All week long everything I was hearing was basically saying give the wind to Masterson. That is pretty much a deadlock. Well it didn’t work out that way. Masterson might well win with his other tractor, but nothing is ever a guarantee, you gotta figure if John Deere does not win that class they basically don’t have an advantage

Pretty cool to see the IH motors come through and take top 3 tonight. Gotta be first time in quite a while.
Yes it was very satisfying to see! I know everyone likes these announcers but they are so biased, they were pretty tight lipped about color after this the top 6 supers all being red then the pros turning out like it did!

Snitker and Chaos are the 2 IH platforms that have proven to be competitive and able to win on a regular basis. There’s only 4 or 5 of them and they don’t run the whole circuits is the problem. Maize is the only one that actually runs the whole circuit, Perish did run the whole ppl campaign this year. That’s a first for them in a long time. Be interesting to see what Sheltons do with both tractor

Maybe on a National level there is too many single turbo classes but at regional, state and local levels without them you won’t have any pulls. Just look at the numbers of participants in those compared to others. The 466 classes, 4.1, and light pros out east dwarf all other classes combined! I do agree on a National level there should only be 2, pros and Iight pro

I know for a fact that Shramek's Young Blood multiple NTPA GN champion was an AC 426 that was tied and strapped together with innovation in order to keep that engine together. And despite that, it still occasionally came unglued.

For me and I realize that there is a lot of support for this rule, however I'm not one of them. The worst rule was the " any sheet metal, any engine ". I believe that the rule killed the one thing that pulling had going for it, brand loyalty. Not many true fans really believe that most cross dressers are anything but either BBJD or SBJD.
