If tax cuts are such a good thing why are they not across the board? Why would someone select certain groups to get cuts and others to pay more?
If you vote for someone because they promise tax cuts for you, then you are more likely to vote for them again if they come through with those tax cuts, and less likely to vote for them if they don't come through, right?

I think "vote buying" is a en vogue term that has been thrown around like this administration is the only one to do it. Let's be honest, pretty much every administration does it (Tax cuts, incentive programs, bailouts, PPP loans). I don't agree with it in any case. But let's for a minute think of another reason why politicians would want to do this? In most cases those

Biden is going to sign an executive order to pay $10,000 dollars toward Student debt. This will cost Billions and no way to pay for it. He is going to borrow the money from China. Looks like American Tax Payers who never attended College are going to be paying the college loans forgiveness for students with college debt. What a bunch of Horse Manure !

You are 100% INCORRECT.
This was in FACT not the first year for Rockwell to have an August date.
I work the event, and I was there working during covid,,,
Same weekend it was this year.
Please try to keep up.
This is true but wasn't the original date in July and they moved it to August in 2020 because of COVID and then back to July last year (2021)? This was the first year is w

Brown County Fair in Mount Sterling and Salem, IL fair got dropped by NTPA because of the Rockwell pull. They’ve both been GN hooks for many many years
Nothing against those pulls but I do think it was the right decision for NTPA. As a puller I can tell you that Mt. Sterling and Salem were not great hooks for what it took to get there. Rockwell is a much better venue, show, and tra

I guess my question in Illinois would be, how does one city control your entire state legislature? Shouldn't there be enough representatives from outside Chicago that Chicago's opinion on the state level aren't taken into account?
It's always a highly debated topic but I believe that most states have a senate and house to do just that. The number of house seats

Illinois will never be a great state again this century.
It would be if we just get rid of Chicago!!!! Now with that said, did you know that our current pot head gov. is thinking about running for President of our Country?
I'm all for getting rid of Chicago (Fudge the Bears...LOL). I actually despise Chicago, especially when I have to drive through it.

If you want that you have to change things in NTPA / PPL / Badger State / Outlaw / etc.
Now everyone can show up when they want to. It doesn't matter which organization you run for.
What you are suggesting is kinda the same like we have over in Europe.
Before a season starts every puller has to sign in that they are running, by doing so a promotor already knows up front how

It seems like this is talked about in a number of posts but I didn't recall a thread dedicated to it. This is specific to the GN/Champ Tour. As a fan and puller I've always felt that a class is best when there are 10-12, with no more than 15, vehicles per class and that a single session should last about 3-3.5 hours.
The class size limitation is to try and keep the same track condit

How much are you looking to spend and do you just need RPM and Boost logging? The reason I ask is there are individual gauges you can buy that will connect to your phone or computer and log simultaneously.

I think this is a good idea but if there are three hooks in a weekend then the "qualifying" hooks should be a "floating" finishing. I don't think many want to hook 5-6 times in a weekend. If the purse is increased significantly that might be a different story but otherwise the costs for the same purse could double.
The alternative is do what they do at BG or Hillsboro and have the ring w

I think there is a way to run these operations as a business and make money or at least break even, especially if you run them as a single member LLC and use any losses to offset personal income tax. This is a little dated and the cost of fuel has gone up but here's an example of how you "could" make it work.
Here's some quick math on what mid-pack (or top 5) finishes will get you w

According to the National Tractor Pulling Championships: "These revving motors are music to the ears of vendors and business owners, as the event pumps nearly $40 million into the local economy... and that may well be a low estimate. Schultz notes the board “did an economic impact study in 2013, and that’s those numbers... so it’s higher yet, probably closer to $50 million."
