There is Moritz, Donahue, Hillsboro, Corn Pro, Pro Trak, Becker Built, Kaufman, Appalachian. I would say any with Dexter brand axles, but there are some brand trailers using other axles. Not sure how good they are, I think sure trac and econoline use other brands. All in personal preference.

depended on year, if its the inline pump it is, if it doesnt look to be an inline its the newer common rail. Do you have any numbers off of the injection pump?

Which one? theres about 30 tractors that run in their "farm stock" 3000 rpm classes and probably 25 are 4430's. Look for their website, it can be found by searching for glenford ohio lions club tractor pulls.

U want to shim the one towards the front of the tractor on the clutch valve body (Under the battery box and step) there on the same side the hydraulic filter is on. I think you only install a shim the the one rear of that if you cannot get the pressure high enough by shimming the front plug.

yea but I think you want a engine out of a combine or power unit, maybe a dozer. Ive heard the ones in the later tractors have different blocks and the bellhousing and framerail bolts will not line up. Like maybe an 8100 tractor for instance?

I believe columbus diesel offers a 450 head/rotor and a 540. They are like $1000 just for the head/rotor assembly. You'll want big lines too to keep from seizing up pump. Are you going to run the old big 4010 injectors or are you running a 4020 narrow deck block? I've heard if you run the 4020 block that takes the pencil injector head, a 55 series head will bolt on if you have the b

18.4-34 to 18.4-38 should be about 3 3/4" difference. Depending on tread wear, 20.8-34 and 18.4-38 there is very little difference, I believe 1" or less.

I agree. Id go with the 4230. You can make a 3 disk clutch or tie the main and pto clutch together for a 4 disk. The quad range makes 1/2 gears rather than a straight 8 speed. If using the stock block, you'll have to change the block on a 4320 or have machining done to mount an a series pump. The 4230 will let an a pump bolt right on just like a 4430/4630. Which head is on the 4230, if

Columbus says 330 cc for a .450 head/rotor. I think the head and rotor is $1000. A 10mm a pump should put out 400 cc. I think a 13 mm model 100 is 350-400 cc maybe.
Get the bigger head and rotor in the pump. Bigger injector lines and have your injectors lazered out with that turbo.

I purchased one from them but it wasnt reworked. 40psi, 1.8gph, continuous duty (no pressure switch shutoff).

The difference is probably because of the 25 HP increase (inline pump and turbo) of the 4430 engine.

By the sounds of things, a 4230 will barely hold 200. Not sure what the difference is between 4230/4430.

How much pressure can you run? There was a previous post a few months ago by chief6030 that if you run 200 psi you may break the filter bolt.

Does this mean you're going to the 4010/4020 bellhousing and dry 3 disk pedal clutch? What do you then use for a tranny? Do you have to buy a custom 3 speed or can you still convert it to a dry clutch and have the quad range? I've heard of guys talking about rather than shifting from direct to under with the shifter, using a toggle switch and solenoid.

It should have the T4 mount, I know they make a #19 exhaust housing. I've even heard of a #17. It may be cheaper to call someone like area diesel and buy a reman with the right housing and use the 3lm for a core.
