5500 SS hands down, would love to see the current class go back to 6000, would make for a far more interesting show and give a diesel a fighting chance. Think of Ross’s motor in the light class.

My problem is the hypocrisy. One rule was enforced the exhaust header coming off, one wasn’t the weight. Why is one enforced and one isn’t? Those of us who have pulled with NTPA in the last 20 years consistently are leaving them because of this very issue. On the issue of the 6400 you had 7 guys who worked hard for their tractor to make weight and one that didn’t. So now the one that didn’t

See above! NTPA needs to stop letting the tail wag the dog! You don’t want to follow our rules you don’t host an event next year, it really is that simple.

It’s really simple. Rules are there, follow them or throw rulebook away. It falls on NTPA’s shoulders as the sanctioning body to stick to their rules, the buck stops with them. Many pullers are leaving. I can tell you in R2 they have Tom’s way of doing things, Jim’s way of doing things and Marvin’s way of doing things. Tom is the regional director but; put your money on it, Jim Miller will

It’s simple rules are there for a reason, follow them! In a class like this 150lbs could be the difference in your tractor having/not having the ability to hook up. NTPA does a poor job on this front. Scaling has been an issue in R2 and am sure others as well, at the Enderle the scale goes on a nice concrete pad, at the pull at the Champaign county fair (same grounds) it goes on the horse trac

I agree with his sentiments. We either accept the fact this is a motorsport that has progressed past the point of what 50-60 year old cast can handle or we stay stuck in one place with our heads buried in the sand. I would argue that components need to be allowed in all classes. This is your foundation for your tractor and maybe today I can afford a 370 ci motor but not a 505 billet aluminum h

This is straight from the court pertaining to Walsh vs Luedtke and all defendants.
¶ 2 The parties agree that, for purposes of the summary judgment analysis, Ohio law applies. We conclude that, under Ohio law, the exculpatory and indemnification agreements that David Walsh signed effectively bar the Walshes' claims against Luedtke. We further conclude that the circuit court did not errone

No one has mentioned this. On an inline 6 inner side shields are required. Be mounted to the chassis and bolted to the block. Doesn’t appear anywhere that these were in place?

All other “sanctioning bodies” whether it be nfl, mlb, nhra (yes they had ihra for a while) nascar, etc. they have no competition. You can make an argument nfl and nba did for a time but for the betterment of the respective sports they all came together. Pullers need out of the rule making process altogether, historically we are our own worst enemy and everyone is out to protect themselves and
