I started pulling in the early 90's with a 450 IH in the open antique classes, the next year built an M for my dad which we both ended up running, then moved on to a 650 IH, while my dad switched to Oliver, first a 77, then an 88, and at last an 88 standard, and finally back to a 560 IH, all Div. 5 Antiques.....while I switched to a 40 Cockshutt, and then to a Super 95 Massey Div. 5....we th

We have a RTV900, and it works awesome.....there are some gassers out there that do pretty well also, but the Kubota works about the best.....if youre looking for something smaller thats also road legal, a Suzuki Samurai works very well also, and doesn't take up hardly any more room than an RTV.....I have one for sale if youre intersted, and would cost less than half of a new utility vehicle

It's just too bad that everyone can't be a spelling champion like you.....and what is wrong with being a fan of a tractor manufacturer that's no longer in business? Given your attitude, there would be no fans of IH, MM, Oliver, etc, etc, etc......maybe you should try getting up on the other side of the bed tomorrow.......

I agree.....entertainment would be a good idea.......leavin' the wrenchin' for at home also sounds good if the tractor plays along!

With a 650 c.i. limit, the RD motor is plenty strong. We had one at 655 c.i. and ran about 5500 rpms with no issues.....ALOT lighter than a 466, they have a good head, and would be alot easier to work with than the 466....

More than likely the stock 88 clutch will not hold....you can use a flywheel and clutch from an 880, it will bolt right up. If you use the 1850 manifolds, your exhaust will come out near the front of the hood, you will nead to elbow it under the hood to get it to come out in the stock location....

I would just like to say that you guys did an awesome job last year for it being a first year pull.....the hospitality and crowd was excellent, and I see this pull doing very well for you in 2010 as a two day pull....keep up the good work, and we will definitely be back again!

Depends on what level of pull you would have there....its an excellent facility, and a very good track......they have a good show already, but you would have some different equipment there if it was an NTPA show......most classes would have just as good of numbers, except no prostocks, unless they went with a grand national show (it would be an excellent venue for a grand national pull)......if i

Yes, you can use the Case sleeve in a 400 series block with some machining....but your compression height of the piston is too low, if you stroke the crank to 5.75", you will have a 570c.i., then you can machine the top of the piston to get the desired compression height and valve reliefs...

I would be interested, although I would suggest staying with the stock head casting, and a 4.1 charger like the Outlaw class.......I think there would be quite a few superfarms that would step up to a class like that, if there were enough hooks to make it worth while.....I would also suggest starting it out on the state and regional levels first, and if it panned out, maybe replace the superfarm

Always enjoy the pull up there...i'm kinda partial to that good MN dirt! You gonna make it to any more shows this year?

Does anyone know if they have gotten any rain out there as of yet? Is there a contact person to get ahold of to check tomorrow? We have a very long drive to get there, and they look to have a pretty good chance of rain and storms.....
