Other than jd,what manufacture would a cummins not be legal in ?
They have the most product support of any tractor engine by many times over.
R and d is being done daily by every aspect of every part of the engine..
And it's gonna be the go to engine for decades to come.
I like the color builds, and will always support those, but in the real world ya would be foolish to not build a cummin

Do away with the llss class in ohio, that's the most asinine comment I've ever read on here in 20 plus years.the class ought to be pushed hard..most of the engine can be built using common parts from a catalog..that level of pulling would thrive if there wad 3-4 men in every county like "t.w.v " that had his passion for the sport, and his passion for craftsmanship..

So true,I had a major contract with the 16 largest.company in that market in the u.s.a.
The company was sold to a small group of investors that had no knowledge of the products or customer service.
The company went downhill quickly, and out of business in 30 months.

That's tough to answer.i guess id pick run all 13 for the ring sat night..that being said i think the format for the 50th anniversary worked well for a quick Sunday session.the regular 5 sessions wernt changed, and the bonus money was seperate

I'm on topic, your idea creates mechanical variety, more than any other session in event history.it substitutes class variety with session variety.its a shame 13 classes and 5 sessions are needed to have a finals, when any state pull in the 80s did the same..

Iin the early to mid eighty I loved watching 40+ of everything simply because there was a great variety of all brands of hooded tractors representing the classes, not every single tractor being 400 series based and red or green...the mods were awesome with over a dozen different types of powerplnts, and not many frame/fender designs looking close..the trucks had a huge variety of powerplants used t

Since all the gn guys hook together now.why not in a class of 40 pros 4 heats of 10 with top ten it's being 1 heat, say heat 1 is that..so top 2 from heat 1,top 1 from heat 2,3,4.guaranteed only 5 in pulloff.works great for other kinds of pulling..win your group of 10 get to pulloff

On the covered grandstand side ,behind the tall open bleachers,is the ticket booth at roughly 400 ft ish..those bleachers "funish line tower" shouldn't be a problem.on height were in rows 16,17,18 and can see both tracks very well start to finish.i wouldn't go no lower than row 10 either, and get closer to the coveted ones seems better,we've been there since the 70s

Dick,if 40 years ago the leadership on the national association could have seen the future and made all tractor classes under 7500 lbs 410 cubes and all classes over 7501 lbs 540 cubes, not 1 brand of manufacturer would have been left out,all blocks and hoods would have matchef, there would be no need for component chassis, the sport would be thriving..the difference in classes from bottom to top wo
