Re: Just a thought that upsets the applecart - 6 months ago

Canfield ohio would be a good spot.between it's 70 and 80,covered grandstands, blacktop pit roads could be used,1/8th mile from 4 lane highway, plenty on motels and food at exit.very easy access.2 tracks available.enormous fair.ntpa did have a few gn pulls there in early 90s.

Re: FYI, 20% of DSS already scratched - 6 months ago

QuoteYep Patches by your logic if Supers were a 140 cubes bigger they'd be more reliable -- i don't see that !!! He asked a question and answer is pros are 140 cubes bigger than ss,that's the big reason

Re: Complaining about pulls - 6 months ago

QuoteSupertiquer As a puller, we are tired of it to and wish they would cut some classes. The 5.0 class killled 4.1 in region 2 You nailed it right there. Too many classes actually hurt the sport. Now there will be many that disagree with me and I'm ok with that. I'm going to add some to this.i think not mant limits kills classes.since you used the class with the word "pro" I'

Re: Complaining about pulls - 6 months ago

QuoteFan 2 You failed to mention they have a finish line and pull offs over there! The one hit wonder stuff over here has hurt the show quality of the show, not the lack of more useless music and loud screaming of the announcer between hookscouldn't agree more

Re: Complaining about pulls - 6 months ago

Being a long time fan of 50 plus years in my opinion what they have and we lack is variety, and we had that at obe time.our sport also gad 1o times the pullers than it does now, with fewer classes,so there was way more to go around.

Re: Congratulations to Simon's on a great event. - 7 months ago

QuoteAnother Fan I'm about tired of hearing that the only complaint after every pull is the PA system. Could be at NFMS or this pull or wherever, same story. No one can talk over that much background noise, and if they do have time to talk, same people would bitch show was too slow. Nobody cares what you're tired of. This is a pulling discussion forum, guess what we are gonna do

Re: Congratulations to Simon's on a great event. - 7 months ago

Be nice if someway the announcers could be heard on an app,or radio channel like some dirt tracks are.id sure like being on the grounds walking listening thru ear buds or headphones during the entire event.
