I have ac in mine.id say I probably could have done without it in my 30s and early 40s,once I hit say 45 and now into my 50s it sure is nice,I do spend most of my time in my garage.i agree with white walls and ceiling, sure makes it easier to see,I swapped my lighting from flouresent to led,big plus there, also I couldn't believe how much easier it is to see when I painted my floor in a standaby patches - Off-Topic Forum

Tire rule and speed are the simplest by far, farm stock is a pretty loose term around here.by patches - Forum

Re: Confused with NTPA "float" rule - 1 year ago
I'll add,it sure seems like the starting line never goes to a current distance, the finish line always goes more positive.what I mean is most all bleachers were made with a 300 ft track in mind with a good view of the finish, since we all use bg as an example and I'm a 46 yr attendee, the covered grandstands ended at pretty close to 290,we've always been in the finish line tower.now tby patches - Forum

I made a post about a mower blade sharpener I bought,I thought it qualified as being "off topic" since it wasnt related to pulling in any way.it had 38 views last i checked, but no replays.it was the only new pist for probably 6-8 daysby patches - Off-Topic Forum

Re: I've Found the Problem - 1 year ago
The most exciting thing in the tractor classes in the last 20 years has been when carlton cope won the ps points title, and when he was making winning hooks..that's because he had a real mf engine under the correct brand and model sheetmetal..he solved the problem all by himself.people were cheering for him in the stands and he drew people all by himself..when pulling got away from that a lotby patches - Forum
Re: I've Found the Problem - 1 year ago
I think it's a time issue.. Every other motorsport has a relation to time related to distance..lap times in circle tracks and road courses, and times in drags..that's where pulling lacks. Every pull should have a board showing the mph and distance.sure would make it more interestingby patches - Forum

Purses - 1 year ago
Flipping thru old puller mags from the 70s 50% of the advertised pulls that would have bought add spots have some kind of payout structure in the add, like top 3 or 5 get this dollar amount.whens the last time a pull ever advertised the payout ?,and why havent they for years ?.by patches - Forum

Re: Addition to Bowling Green schedule? - 1 year ago
I'm gonna get crucified for this post I'm sure. Every time I've seen the legends live,or watched on youtube,I see a complete rout of the show by mike otts tractor.the other mods I've seen struggle severely to make a pass to 250 ft,then mike goes 400 easily.most of the mods are 5 to 6000 lb trs and should have a sled setting accordingly to let everyone go 300 ftby patches - Forum

Re: What is a good payout? - 1 year ago
Been having this convo the last few weeks with some local pullers.to us it's a legitimate sport,to some it's a hobby.BUT the bottom line is it's a business that must turn a profit for the promoter/club/and fair,or they'll find something else to draw a crowd.by patches - Forum
