With the precision 'hot farm wheel' 6 blade I'd start here:
775cc fuel
40-45 ounces water per pass (10sec run time)
34 degrees on timing
Timing will very some depending on who's injectors you're running and the spraying angle of them but 34 is pretty safe
Also if your gt42 you have now is a ball bear center section you would be money ahead just getting a compr

Couple things, don't decompress your 414 or your 466 that won't help anything also your way short of the water you need. That setup should use around 25-30oz in a pass (10 sec) so you really need to triple what your currently putting in. Also start with strait water not water meth, could get very expensive with that stuff

The gt is better then the h2.
A journal bearing turbo will have a large cap nut looking thing on the compressor wheel,
A ball bearing SHOULD have a one piece wheel and nut, allowing your to see the end of the shaft when looking into the compressor/intake side of the turbo

Yes, you gotta have your ducks in a row tho, slotted cover turbos will make more top end power BUT a 'smooth' or 'slick face' cover is more forgiving and will stay on top of it better.
I know there is lots of used harts 6 blade and 7 blade billet compressor wheels out there for sale.
I myself have a 6 blade (hot farm wheel) that I'd sell for $350 would be a huge im

With a intercooler you won't need the 40oz of water I suggested in my earlier post 20oz would be a good starting point. you might be more like 800cc of fuel. I'd still drop timing below 36 to start with
Also (if you don't already) your going to need hardened rods at minimum, steels sleves and billet Pistons might be unavoidable in the future
If your gt42 is a ball bearing t

Well there's hundreds of hp to be gained on your setup before you need to worry about more cubic inch.
Try this,
Timing at 33-34
Fuel at 775cc
High psi water injection 40 oz per pass (10 sec)
The above numbers might sound a bit odd to you but just just try it.
water is an absolute must and it makes it all work
Updated fuel system and turbo will do the most to gain you power

I would like to see that 806/466 tractor apart. To have 200lb movable weight and a 200lb driver leaves you 5600lb
Dry dressed dt466 diesel is 1600lb +clutch and if you fill the head
That leaves less then 4000lb to build a complete rolling chassis. Can it be done? Maybe but it was either extremely expensive or it's really unsafe and shouldn't be on the track.
I also feel that

Yes, we run one on a 466ci 12000 altered farm tractor with a rotary pump. Never pulled anything slower then road gear last season. Even turned 2 over on a couple softer tracks

The occasional tractor pulling fan can't tell the difference between 1250hp and 1600hp. That is because of the sleds and the way things are set up in today's tractor pulling, nevertheless it proves that horsepower does not put on the show. 3 open superstocks will not draw the crowd that 15 hot farms will. Competitive diversification is what puts fans in the stand, ground speed, and pai

I think some people forget that what makes a pump 'good' is not just how many cc's it flows. A 15mm rotary is capable of lots of fuel but we all know they are junk. Harts has proved itself on the track for about 4 years now. Some of the other pumps may be good as well but if you want a sure bet for performance and reliability you buy the harts pump and plumb it just like Randy tell

Couple reasons why the momentary switch could cause issue. First off most guys are running 8 disk ta's now which freewheel in the low side so driving in the pits/unloading is much safer on the high side of the TA as it drives and functions like a normal tractor would. Secondly if something happens going down the track causing the driver to bump a toggle switch, chances are that same incide

Just use a toggle switch, mount it near your pointer finger on the throttle handle. Shifting up is up, shifting down is down. Very simple, cheap and reliable.

Lol, have you been to the Dyno recently? Harts 3" and 4.1" stuff is hands down on top. As for fuel it might be a bit closer but I'd bet the farm that if you popped the hoods of all the winners next week in Gordyville most of them would have harts stuff making it go. But by all means get your stuff from somebody else, it will make my summer more enjoyable!! Lol
