I don't have a dog in this particular fight, but did Ubet even read Chad's post. If you are over cubed that is blatant cheating, when you wrote the check you knew you would be violating the rules, however if you always add 1oz of cetane boost to your fuel or 2oz of water oil to your water and you always passed before, then for some reason the same mix failed the test, that is a whole d

Did you piss somebody off? I allegedly had similar trouble with the rpm box pickup too, I just checked over all the wires, made sure all connections and grounds were tight, which everything was, and the problem mysteriously went away. Was it the pickup, I doubt it, but just check over everything. Are you still using a factory harness? Has the rpm pickup worked before? Is the pickup picking u

What you need is your 5" crank from the 436 with a set of 4.625" pistons. That would make it identical to a Case 504. If you used a 466 crank (5.35") with a 4.5" piston it would give you 510ci. I don't know what combination the big boys are running.

Aaron, you are absolutely right. They were allowed, then a couple guys figured everything else out (besides the tires) and had some nice tires to go with it then there was a big emergency meeting then they had to run light if I remember right (ok, grab another gear) for the rest of the season, then at the meeting/banquet they weren't allowed anymore which was voted on. It was a bunch of bs

I don't know how many times I have to tell you Burt, it doesn't hook in 466 yet. It runs in the south central 640 class and very rarely with pi hot farm. However, my work allowed me just enough time off between trips to get the new 466 done for it, now I just need the time to get it in. You need to give me your number so you can supervise the installation so I don't get accused

Whatever Bert, I can't always be around to supervise the operation, I don't hook them where they don't belong. Why don't you crawl out from under your rock so I can see if my suspicions are correct on which whiner you are? That's right, I've asked you before and you still choose to hide behind your keyboard! Have a nice day!

If Bert is who I think it is, he is afraid they will end up in his class and have the same bs that went on two years ago. I just don't get why that "hot" club doesn't allow sharpening or grooming and save everyone the trouble, just my two cents.

Don't know how Kenny's sintered disks work yet, only have one hook on them. We do have two seasons on a 2 disk and one season on a 3 disk from Rursch and they have held up fine so far. The 2 disk from Rursch was originally built with buttons but only lasted about 20 hooks then was converted to the sintered disks. I ran a different machine that has an old Hyper 2 disk with buttons and

I have one tractor set at 375psi and the other is at 385psi. Just the way it worked out, blew alot of gaskets trying to get the shims right, seemed the gaskets would pop at about 425psi or so. This has worked fine on two different Allied 5 disks. I always torque the MCV bolts.

I believe this is the one I used from Napa 701-1577. I forget what it is factory set at but I made a tee with this screwed in with a gauge and a quick connect. I turned my regulator down to whatever I wanted, then took out the plug in the switch and adjusted it until the switch closed checked with a meter or a test light would work too.

I remember that run at Tomah, it was Bill Miller on the Cruisin Mule. He did a hell of a job keeping the damage to a minimum, if I remember right all he broke was a spindle or a rod end, nothing major considering. I still can't believe the sled didn't lock up the brakes or something, Bill had quite the head of steam.

14L-15 doesn't even exist, you've got 9.5L-15 and 11L-15. The 14L-16.1 is maybe what you were thinking. Tire size is easy, just look at it. It must be some big secret what guys are using, since the original post is about a year old with no replies. My guess is the 11L's are going on 12" rims, 9.5's are going on 10" rims. I'll find out one of these days.

Bert, can't you just leave the water issue alone, its been fairly peaceful around here lately? You sure do have a hard-on over that. Not everything added to water is a fuel, believe it or not. Funny how deck plates turns into a water debate.

How good is your pump? Ran something similar first on a 466 with a 15mm pump, wrecked 466 then went to a 540 and back to the 13mm pump, that setup worked great with the 241. Still running with the 241 on the same 540 but with a p-pump now since 2002, still works good, don't know how long the 3lm will live like that, its not my problem anymore! Anyway, I would give the 241 a try. Good luc

Hey Matt, well you said it, stock gears are the problem. Did it wreck the quill housing? If it didn't consider yourself lucky, on Jeffro's at the end of '08 at Platteville the constant mesh chipped a bunch of teeth and one ended up wedging in the stock quill housing causing that to explode and also wrecking the "wall" in the center section, at that time it still had the stock CM
