Me and a farming neighbor had our batterys stolen out of our combines and trucks last fall a total of 11 battery and all the copper out of a irragation pivot. We call the sheriff dept and reported it but it was a complete joke. They (the sheriff dept) have last tract of their real job and that is to investigate crime, not running speed traps which is the hwy patrols job i do believe. I live in th

Sure sounds like the common attitudes that most dealers and companys have today toward their customer base. I do have three dealers that are willing to work for my business but they are still very independent about their way of dealing as in price dealing, but they do make a effort which is more than I can say about some of the take it or leave it attitudes. Of these four dealers none of them are

All this talk about "A" pumps and "P" pumps is kinda silly folks. Your setting up a "light" pro-field, hot-farm, 2 hot to farm, or whatever you going to call it, since when is anything above 6000 or the very most 6500 considered "light"? also back to a pump issue it's cheaper to run a "P" pump than the big "A" pump and you don't have the problem of teching it. Keep the cu in down to 36

Along with talking to those promoters that Scott Lubbering mentioned, go ahead and talk to Boone County Fair in Columbia Mo. Doesn't seem like they are very happy with the past and have contracted with MMTTPA to do their event in 2012. Also from my information that was given to me the 2011 pull in Columbia when every thing was taken into account cost the Boone County Fair in excess of $1400

18 to 1 with the 560 ring /pinion. Not sure of final ratio on 400 ring/pinion but the ratio of the ring/pinion on the 560 is 3.26 and on the 400 is 2.63 so maybe someone smarter than I might be able to firgue it out. I have a 400 ring/pinion in my 560 but don't remember the ratio but it is fast. My guess is around 14 or 15 - 1.

Craftman the box I buy for in the shop, they are good boxs but you need to watch which one you buy. Use to buy Snap-on but they gotten to expensive but they are still the best boxs. Have two Snap-on boxs on my fuel trailer that have been riding for over 30 yrs and still doing their job. It also depends on if you want a boxs for outside dry storage with the front lids then Snap-on still is the box

Even with land prices as high as they are the investor money will be there with cash rent as high as they are even with $20,000 an acre land the return on your money is almost double what you can do with a bank and a hell of a lot safer than the stock market. Oop kinda got off the subject there. Me bad.

Well Boys here is what ILL. told me and this come directly from a ILL. Dot Offical and the ILL Sec. of States office. They don't care what plate you are running in the state you come from. In Ill. you need a trip permit and that requires a USDOT no. You have a USDOT # and he told me all you had to do was call the Ill Sec of State and get the permit. They don't care if it's a farm t

I'd say the threoy is limit cubic inches and rpms and that will limit your turbo size. Easy to tech. Also there is no pump limits so another easy item to tech.

To my knowledge the 666 axle size is the same as the 560 and the 460 and 350 with the big axle are the same but the rest of the tractor is different with exception of the TA.

Hey sounds like someone wants a cheap look. My comment is if you want to know then put up the money and take the chance that your right then 500 dollars isn't to much to put up to have someones (or your own) engine taken down to find out. Now if your willing to accept a puffer or a pan only check then a couple hundred might be acceptable. I personally surpport the rule something like MSTPA p

I don't generally like to comment about prices but I will today. Prices at the pull have gotten out of hand as far as per session prices and concession prices. I have been attending this pull for several years and it just keeps getting higher and higher every year. Now I realize that other sporting event costs are excessive also but this event needs to remember that this is somewhat of a fam

Mack, It's true to say that it seems to be the present state of pulling. How do we change that and still be able to run the newer more updated motors? You know I'm a IH man and would like to be competative with a IH motor and to do that seems like a major challenge. So what makes the 5.9 motor such a good preformance motor??? Are we running 5.9's or is it something that looks like

You would probably want to look at MSTPA's class of 5900 lb Profield tractors for your rules. It is a very good class and has a lot of speed and smoke and is a very economical class to have. Also is easy to enforce the rule sense all you have to worry about is rpm's and cubic inches. There is no turbo rule and the pump rule allowes P-pumps. Pretty simple really.

You know I sometimes wonder if these point races would work better if say we could pick the pulls that would count toward the point race. Example- Maybe out of all your hooks you could drop a given number that didn't count. Maybe say you have 12-15 point hooks a summer that count maybe don't count 2 or 3 and let the puller pick these that don't count so that the puller could stay

I do support and are very dedicated to our pulling assocations, Have just decided that the points aren't worth the time & effort. We pull every weekend and sometimes during the week with one of the associations we pull with. Just saying that once in awhile there are other things that need to be attended to & as I get older I have began to put some family functions ahead of the pulling. If th

We use to try and make point runs all the time and it finally got to the point of not being worth all the effort, because the point payout sure doesn't offset the added cost & time demands. I realise that we'll not in this so much for the money but sometime it just isn't worth all the effort. It begins to take the fun and fellowship out of pulling. It does help to not put pull date
