The 460's was the one with two different size axle. The 560 's all had the bigger axle.

I hope when MMTTPA gets done with him in the court system that he wouldn't want to give anyone else a bad or insufficate funds check or stop payment check again. Wasn't their fault that he didn't have a crowd. I hope other pulling associations will learn from this that there are promoters out there that will pull this on you, you better hope you have a good bank account to cover th

I run in a 3000 rpm class in Mo. We use a sled tach to record the run while pulling. It's not a 100% answer but it's a lot better that any other option. It does have some issues but still better that the (haha) honor system.

Won't disagree with having a skip or even the fact that about any planter is best at 4 or 5 mph, especally when you are planting around 32000 population but cost verses gain just isn't an advantage for us little guys so I don't worry about a little skip, just plant it thick, fertilize heavy, use the latest techniagely and hope for some good weather. Then get out the "old" and I do

Got my dry day I mentioned in earlier post. Got done planting corn about noon, raining by 2:00 oclock. Good thing is I can maybe finish up putting the pulling tractor together for playday this saturday in Sedalia Mo. That is if all the changes work and it starts and runs. Don't have any time for unplanned delays so heres to luck, made some major changes so we need a hook or two to see if it&

You know I may not have the most competative tractor out there on the track but you can damn sure bet that I've ask questions about different things from turbos to tires and have applied that to my machine and I can honestly say that I hav

"Walt & Me To" the setup I gave in the previous post will only work on a 560. The 460 has a smaller diameter brake shaft and the distance between the axle housing and the brake shaft is shorter, but if Kenny makes or would make you a rotor disc then I believe the 460 setup could be similar. I also mounted the calipers on top of the rotor not in front. I don't claim to be to smart with thes

Didn't change anything from the original size Kenny sent to me. Built the mounts to fit the rotors. If I remember right the rotors are 14"? I know the rotors just do fit between the brake shaft and axle housing. I run some light angel iron from holes in axle housings to mount the calipers and braced them with brackets from the roll gage. It was a petty simple set up and hasn't give any

I run a 560 rear end and I got mine from Kennys pulling parts. Mine is the same as the 66 series runs. You can turn a 14" disc and the splines are the same on the brake shaft. Only thing I had to do was manufacture the mounts for the calipers and brake pedals. I'll tell you one thing for sure it works great.

The 14" clutch may?????? hold but I'm having trouble holding my 12" double disc if I try to run my tall gear which is like a 24/1 gear. I don't khow how that compares to what Hi 3rd is for you all, I know the 14" clutch will hold alot better, just can't get a 14" in my 560 housing. Any ideals on how to make it hold better would be great. Will be developing more Hp next season so I&

If your concerned about how it will run take a look at how the "RED DELIGHT" tractor that runs the 5700 profield class with MMTTPA runs. I run a 361 motor with a 3LM466 turbo and I believe I could run a bigger one. I run a 450 Rooser pump, intercooler, with water injection. I would recommend if your going to run a heavier class to go to a 407 but you will for sure need at least a 2 disc and if y

The White tractor was second in points with MSTPA in 2010, very competative tractor in the MSTPA Assoc. 5700 profield class. Carl, in MSTPA we don't have any limits on turbo size and we allow the P-pump to be run. We let the cu. in. rule (361 for turbo tractors) and the 3000 Rpm limit be the controll for the class. Simple rules, easy to enforce. If you have any questions give me a call, be g

You know I don't understand why some assocations want to make rules to make it so hard to update to a newer engine with the newer technology. The future of tractor pulling lies in the abilty to update using the older tractors because we all know you sure can't use the newer tractors. We're starting to run out of t
