I'm sorry to hear you feel we are asking for a lot of safety equipment but there are multiple reasons for this.
Insurance companies are becoming more and more strict with guidelines for these events in which these rules help the matter at hand
Safety of our drivers and crowd members is crucial (one mishap and events such as ours will seize to exist!)

Looking forward to tommorw nights show.
If you are planning on leaving your truck and trailer overnight like a few did last year; It is not a problem but Please mention it to the parking staff or to a official so we don't have any issues in the morning with other events.
Thanks!

We are allowing the south central rules to run in this class! Last year we had a good turn out of the guys from south central and are hoping that you will be attending again!
Other matter of business is that there has been some questions about running 6000#s instead of 6500#s in the hot stock class. We are not opposed to this as long as it is a unanimous agreement to make the class 6000 instea

I spoke with kenny yesterday and he was asking how we have enforced the speed limits at our other pulls. So this would make me believe that they will be enforced.
ex. a 10MPH limit is 10MPH not 10.1mph! No grace!
Hope to see everyone there!

We incorporated the speed limit in SW Wisconsin the last few years because of the many reasons stated above (less teching, less fighting, etc). We have tried different speeds at different locations over the last few years. What we have learned that has seemed to work out the best is -
6-8 MPH non turbo farm class 7500-9500#
10 MPH Turbo Farms 11,000-17,500#
15-18MPH Too Hot To Farm 11,000-12

As a promoter I like to hear what everyone thinks about what we are doing or what we should do. Personally i have spoken with a few sources to get further ideas for this class. I have heard positive things and negative about what we have been doing so far. As far as the speed limit situation i guess i can be guilty of being one of the first to inspire it into the class. Dale lived for tractor pulling and touched the lives of many on and off the track.
