I did my research so I could understand the workings of the organization. You can find out also if you really want to. I believe Mr. Schrier would answer your questions to your face (or by phone) if you ask. There are many shareholders and they control the Board and if they are satisfied with the direction of the organization, why would they change it? If you are dissatisfied with the way t

What makes a lot of this thread confusing is that posters are mixing farming and pulling. Different laws apply because farming is commerce and pulling may not be (according to the DOT regs that I have seen). However, when that GVWR is in excess of 26,001 pounds, then CDL rules apply regardless. JW

Yes, but, I don't think Philip is going to be at all of the events doing the driving. At least this is the rumor I have heard. Granted, the way "Original Rat Poison" is performing right now, I could probably do pretty good on it. It will be interesting to see the substitute drivers on board if that is the case. But, Philip certainly did show the Europeans how to pilot a mini!!!!!!! JW

My wife could do it, but you wouldn't like her answers, because she handles them just like any other business accounts she has. I did the pulling as business for a couple of years, then said it is not worth it. Besides, we are too far away from the Thumb area, lol. JW

Now, PP, don't be too reasonable here. It won't work because some people just don't understand reason. PPL and NTPA don't "raise" the license fees. They actually offer a discount for paying early, just like any business does. Ever heard of 2%-10, net 30, or 30 days same as cash, etc. There is not only the time factor as Policy Peddler has outlined, but also the matter of

The other thread is way too long, so I am starting a new one. What if....there was a water-soluble "pump lube" that has internal combustion performance enhancers in it and it has been on the open industrial market for 15 years or so? Is it cheating, then, if a competitor (leave names out of it) tries or experiments with it? Given that there are chemists (and engineers, etc.) involved in pull

You are going to try to FINE me when I voluntarily join your organization to put on a show. Ha! Unless you have the authority to put me in chains or jail, I am simply going to tell you "sayonora" and go to a different organization. The most an organization can do is ban the competitor from any further competition with the group. However, when that happens who puts on the show. If there is ma

Right on with the lube. When you take it apart, you should see the lube in the intake ports, manifold, pump insides, etc. My experience is taht you should keep the system full also between passes. It prevents the oxygen from contacting the metal which is the culprit. However, I don't let the alky sit after the season. Take sytem apart and let dry (hoses, fittings, etc.), lube the pump a

Is it really the pump they are putting the lube in for? I think I would much rather use lube much the same way I use a lube in my alcohol--to keep any parts that are prone to oxidizing from doing just that. I realize most are probably using aluminum parts where water wouldn't affect, but combining water in the combustion process where steel or cast iron is involved could lead to premature

Remember the good times and laugh or chuckle a lot--it helps the grieving process immensely. If you make the show, there will be some who wish you hadn't. God bless and safe travels. JW

I had a fab shop build me one that fit snugly in the bed ( I think it was about 20" high and 20" deep and the width of the bed) that holds 95 gallons. I had a fitting put in bottom corner and hooked up a small 12 volt pump ($15-20) and then just put a fitting into the filler neck of the front tank (Ford dually). When front tank gets close to empty, I turn on switch and watch the needle go up; t

Grand National and Regional National limits are the same. So, it wouldn't matter if there was a RN event scheduled. The 500/8-71 limits are Limited Mini Rod "rules". I think that applies to the WTPA. I am not aware of any others who are built to those "specs" except the people in WTPA. JW

No one but Salenbiens know what it truly is (except maybe Larry Richwine). You got good answers to your question, but you didn't heed them. Call Ryan and set up your dyno appointment and you will be a winner or at least have a motor capable of winning (if you take their advice). But remember, chassis setup has a lot to do with being successful on the track. For superfarm horsepower thoug

I have a question--would Diuble have been able to kinda slow the motor down if he had put all the pressure he could on the brakes, since the wheels were still under power? I know that what seemed like an eternity was only a few seconds, but I wonder if that would have helped. On another note, I know all of the tech people involved. They are the some of the best that the sport has to offer. So
