Do you mean NTPA's Mid-South region, or is PPL just not showing it on their schedule?

Ken Couch and Kevin Masterson are locks for me. Parish and Miller are possibilities. I hope the Pro Stock class can expand in the Mid-South.

Always wanted to make it up to Tomah, but it took me a decade-plus to make it to Bowling Green. Hopefully one of these days I'll be able to take it off of my bucket list--I've heard nothing but great things about the pull there.

Hoping to make it down and that the weather will cooperate. Nobody likes a wet track.

It's kind of hard for me to say--especially when you look at it this way. UCLA has won the most basketball championships in NCAA history, but what have they done lately? Would you call them the Kings of NCAAB? I would venture to say no.
As a related sidenote, I'm sad to see that he's running the Lite tractor in the heavy class. Though I can definitely see why he's doing it.

Rob, I will agree with your assessment of the accessibility of Leon and Larry. The Light Super pullers of the Mid-South have doubtless seen me at many pulls and they have always been friendly and willing to talk to anyone.
On a related note: When I was in fourth grade, we had a "bring someone to lunch" day, the person that I asked was "too busy" and wasn't going to make it. I called Larry

Should be a great (and early) opportunity to test different settings on my camera.
I've always been pleased with the pulls that have been put on in Temple Hill.
Looking forward to the event. Thanks for posting the information.

One problem I see with the 7000 combo class is gearing. Lville takes a low gear anyway, adding 800 to the LSS probably takes them out of the gears they have.
A lot of the Mid-South Light Super Stock boys (and girl) will jump up and run in the 8,000 lb class when the Mid-South has it on the schedule (and they're willing). Monica Shaw, Mike Wilhite, Jay Fuqua, Larry Phillip

Going for first time 2012. Whats better. Reserved seats or lawn chairs. Want to have fun and enjoy.
Personally, I think that the reserved seats are better--especially if you wind up in the back "row" of the lawn chair section. It really just depends on what kind of perspective you want. Are you more of a ground-level person or do you like to have some height? I was near the top of

This motorsport lacks editorial content. Almost all other sports have numerous sites that do nothing more than editorialize. I know that my editorials are poorly written, grammatically incorrect, and poorly edited, so I apologize for that. I never claimed to be a good writer.

I agree that the sport lacks editorial content and I wish that there was more of it. Though

jake wants us to spend 190 dollars at louisville to watch early 1990s prostocks [ aka lite and limited prostock}
Last I checked, there are more than just Pro Stocks at the Farm Show--even if that is all you care about.
There's eight different classes, so you'd just be paying $23.75 for your Pro Stock portion.
Or if you want to look at it another way: 18 total classe

Just a question here: When the pullers submit their application, I assume they also put their placements for the past year. For example: it was brought up that Mike Happe won at Owensboro. Do they also know how many were in the class/who the other competitors were? I think it's safe to assume that not many people in attendance at the Farm Show knew that it was against only one other tractor.

Glad to see that the blue and orange boys have eleven entries. Would really love to make it up for this pull, but the likelihood is very slim. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that one of the Wisconsin boys takes it. Though I wouldn't mind it a bit if Wilhite managed to sneak past them.

Yes, Christiani usually runs one of the grader tractors and did run the roller for a while. And obviously track conditions aren't going to be perfect when they are going for speed, but the least amount of downtime as possible is the name of the game for them.

Honestly, I feel as if Harold had a better chemistry with Butch than Dave does. Maybe it will just take a while, but only time will tell. Butch has announced the Farm Show for 34 years (if my math is right) and he is the key-component of the announcing team--you can have the "interchangable parts" just keep Butch as the core and I will be happy. I just wish that Dave would learn that you don'

While it is sad that a Super Farm won the 8,000 points, you also have to take a look at how many TRUE 8,000 lb Supers run that class in the Mid-South. It also helps if you make every hook of the class (which John Pitt did)--look how many blank spots there are on the points list. Really, the class is just an opportunity for the Mid-South pullers to try to figure out their kinks. Interesting to not

Brandon Hunt had 228.60, so he would've missed out on Finals either way.
I just wish they would've said for sure why he was DQ'd that way we wouldn't have to have all of this speculation.

We're just lucky that they brought back the Lightweight Super Stocks, much less trying to get the committee to have a Finals for them on Saturday night. It would be nice though.
