you could try a hyd reverser off a combine harvester, the one on my R50 automatically engages when you feed it hyd. power and disconnects completely when deactivated. although I am not sure if it will do this in both directions? just a thought?

What kind of fuel flow is he running, what control system is he using, and was that the turbo plumbing giving out at the end? sorry for all the questions but I'm quite impressed! also I'm guessing they have stirred it up a bit in that class?

Depending on your skill Nick, it's usually much cheaper to just go draggin a twenty through a trailer park-get the same result with less investment! if you know what I mean? LMAO.

Yes at one time we used to motor down the road with no seat belts-didn't exist but now most sane people wouldn't drive with out them! As with pulling and every other endeavor, things evolve usually for the better, so claiming since it wasn't done in the past, dose not make it smart to say "well gramps or dad got away with it so heck be dammed I'm going to take my chances too"

Too much air gap? stall springs too tight-coil bound? not enough weights? release bearing not giving the fingers enough room? uneven floater plate gap adjustment? just a few ideas! good luck!

Someone can correct me if i'm wrong but i am quite sure they stopped using 1/2" head bolts after either the 8000-9000 or 8700-9700 era .I would expect the truck motor will have 9/16 bolts in it already! service books talked of using stepped studs for attaching 1/2" style head to 9/16 block but I would think having block drilled and tapped would be the way to go,that is if you have 1/2 right

burnsstainless.com has 304 and 321 up to .065 or you could try your local dairy equipment supply company, not sure how well pipeline tubing will bend though? also there is the odd muffler shop advertising all stainless systems, from experience that tubing is not as pure stainless but this allows easier forming! was a fella in town here that did this work for car restorers but I have lost his contac

Front end seems to stand up to more abuse being the both wheels hit the ground at the same time, at least most of the time!
that said it can make steering the tractor a bit interesting on some very uneven fairground infields especially if you are using a high ratio manual set up,kind of keeps you focused!

Up here north of the border, a thing called "drive clean" has knocked most of the Brazilian diesels off the road, so there are many available at reasonable cost! funny how government can devalue somethings so quickly?

While I do not have a tractor in this class, I have watched this class compete many times and yes from what I have overheard this pump rule has added extra cost into many of the tractors. the small stanadyne rotaries have to work very hard to keep up to the bosch inlines and model 100 ih pump. I believe they do limit turbo somewhat over a certain c.i. Further south in SWOTPA they allow p pumps bu

We have 20.8-42 on one of our farm tractors, offer great traction in the field but not too sure how they would do on a pull track? also we have noticed quite a bit of side wall deterioration- have had to dismount them a few times to replace the tubes and put boot patches on the tears in the sidewalls! have a feeling we will be replacing them with another brand in the near future.

SFI is basically only concerned about what the part is made from and whether it will suitably do the job intended? once a manufacturer submits their component for review and receives acceptance, they can label further production as SFI cert. until they either give up their approval-as in not sending another sample for recertification etc. so long story short I guess you can see how your clutch as
