One more thing, considering how the spectators must sit up and watch expecting another possible spectacle, you would think maybe the likes of Redbull would want to be on the tractor as a sponsor! I sense an opportunity here for this team, might help with the cost of continuous engine building. can only imagine the builder cringing every time the Maid pulls on to the track as he feverishly works o

Thanks very informative! maybe you can expand my limited knowledge in regards to harmonics in horizontally opposed engines. most if not all 4 cly. aircraft engines have no crank counter weight, but they do have a large flywheel,as in a 72" plus propeller on it's end.also some models have a general admonishment not operate at roughly 1500-1900 rpm.I may be wrong on the exact number as I disp

Have seen crank counterweights drilled and heavier material pressed into the holes! makes more sense to lose weight in the piston and rod end of things! no sense turning your crankshaft into a second flywheel.

thanks for the link! quite obvious pulling is very popular in europe, I would imagine the viewer ship would be quite large when this program is on. very professionally done, enjoy the fact that the commentator waits till after the tractor's run to add commentary! thanks again and keep em coming.

you could anneal it before you clamp it in , simply blacken it with a pure acetylene flame, then burn the carbon off with a neutral flame, let it cool on it's own ,will soften it enough to better seal the water jacket. just an idea that might help you

well it seems like i may have been standing too close to dirk being some of his good luck? may afflicted me too.first we spun #5 rod in our tw30-failed oil pump idler, rest survived but crank still needed some serious care. also have a tw35 dual power pump to replace and last but not least our 185 allis clutch gave out! so pulling has really fallen back on the list for now! I will say that since

I am curious about what others tire brands have worked well for 24.5 32 rears since firestone has taken a my crap don't smell attitude that their tires are so far Superior that we will charge you hundreds of dollars more then the next guy for the same size of ag. tire. I know of a few ag. equipment manufacturers that have switched to more affordable alternatives! here is some of my personal

depends how you look at it,most tractor brands came with an engine at or near 505-510 or had an engine that could be brought up to near that without breaking the bank, and yes we do allow ford and ih truck engines as well.while 540ci maybe possible to allow an JD 6030 in at 531ci, you have to be carefull about going much beyond or you will just turn the class into a battle of the wallets ,again no

Let me throw this fox into the hen house? maybe we should look at aligning our our engine combinations with what they do in the wnypf group- say 315 and under two charger, 410 and under one. of course this is diesel, alky would be have to be discussed as to a reasonable ci. limit. now back to my corn harvest, hope to see some interesting posts later today on this subject!

just the hole for the tip-nuts are available, they are rather thin walled but seem to hold okay! as for tip size ,not sure-my pump guy sized stock tips from the catalog said I had to go to a 9mm tip I only run just under 700cc at 10 strokes so you will have to get that info for your setup from someone more knowledgeable then me. good luck!

I used the injector bodies from the Genisis, yes they are only 7mm tips but you use different tip holding nuts used for 9mm tips, then have the head opened up from 7mm to 9mm or maybe just a frog hair more-makes it easier to remove injector later, works for me! good luck.
