Is there anyone in the northern half of Indiana running a LLSS, and if so. What group are you running with?

It possibly could be valve train related also. Bent valve or one out of adjustment, or a rocker issue. One of those without hearing it could be tough to diagnose.

I said 1000 was possible, and I still stand behind that. If you want to call it 1100 that's fine. My point in theory is look at the truck classes top to bottom. Work stock 650-700, 2.5 still seems to be the debate, 3.0 1700-1800, super stocks are 2300 and up. The these turbos are exactly that. They tech 2.5 but really aren't. Call around to your builder of choice, I bet you can find a 7

A respectable 2.6 in our area is 1300 on a properly setup dyno, so why isn't 1000 possible on a 2.5? How true is any charger being built for a pulling application? Everything is clipped, machined, massaged to make more with what appears to be less. I've seen the Stainless 2.5 setup in person last I checked it is very different than an s400 with a "bat mo wheel" in it.

I would agree with that number, Stainless Diesel has a very nice 2.5 setup that is drawing a lot of attention.

Like most posts on here this is getting out of hand, the general consensus on this topic is you don't have to be the biggest to be competitive. I'm currently running a setup that is more than a 100 ci under my class limit. I had a large amount of non-believers when I put it together, but have since had most of the class scratching their heads. Pay attention to the things that matter and

The replacement for displacement is rpm and wheel speed. Let's say you scale your tractor at 800 pounds lighter but carry 3 mph more ground speed going down the track to offset the lack of torque small cubes make. Where do we finish now? It's about finding out what your setup likes. Badger State 466 class is a good example, the things I'm seeing from there are impressive for a smal

I have personally seen the diesel mule pull two 9500 tractors hooked together, not saying they are the best option. But I was impressed!

I don't have a part number but the needles kennys pulling parts uses on an IH should work, I have some in the shop, I'll try to get some measurements on them.

Input, counter, and pinion shaft in an oliver/white trans.

If you have new shafts made and eliminate the 1st and 3rd gear set that is machined as part of the shaft. You can stick gear sets out of random oliver/white tractors in there and give yourself more options than the profab ever will.

One other thing to keep in mind is the pump and pickup tube on the rearend side of the housing that pressure lubes the trans shafts.

Cat puller do you care to share with us what your setup is. I would love to learn more.

In my opinion, I would leave it be. The pins are already a hardened pin and if you turn either the pin or gear to accept bearings you are only giving up strength. They are built quite a bit different than an IH rear. I'm on my third season of mid to upper 20 mph passes and my tractor drives straight as an arrow.

Brad is great help in this department. As posted before many of these tractors have parts that will interchange. I'm currently running a few 6th gears in my setup for some options.
