What are you considering high exhaust temps? If you are allowed water inj. you should run some water to help with temps and to drive the turbo harder. Which will help you and make more power. Just a suggestion not knowing more details.

Yes but you can send them back to the manufacturer and get them recertified for another 5 years. And can keep doing that until the manufacturer says its bad. Or until it has caught a clutch explosion.

Good question. When our Engine lost a rod and piston last year at Findlay. We almost pulled that rod off the crank and put the oil pan back on for our final hook of the season. Just to bump the sled and get our points. Not just for last years point but the SF class has wrap around points for the Enderle and those are the ones that we was most concerned about. But we decided against for safety rea

If your riding the clutch that long in super farm you better go back to the DYNO and find More Power. And if you are stuffing it out at the end of the track once again you better go find more HP. And your not a Veteran puller if you can't tell the difference from a SF to any of the Pro classes. All you wannabes can quite bitching about the SF class bc you are jealous of it. It's a fun

There is a couple that are pulling super farm class and one of them has a recast head on it which will fix the poor air flow problems. So it would be a good choice for a light pro.

After weighing in you can only move 200 lbs or 2 weights. Without having to get your hitch remeasured. As long as he reweighed and remeasured his hitch after all the adjustments it's should be legal. That is one good thing about going first if your way off you can make major adjustments.

You could also use a hyd rotory coupling like on a combine. For the variable speed corn head drive or a variable speed rotor belt. Like on a Gleaner R series combine. (I am most familiar with gleaner that's why I said that but I am sure IH or JD has one.) They are designed to rotate at high speeds and very rarely do they leak on a combine. I have only replaced a few and only bc they where be

Thanks for helping me out and yes it is colberg that has them and I know of a couple manifolds that are welded up that have been warping during use and then they start to leak mid season and the need resurfaced. And with the clamps it shpull eliminate the warping.

If your just looking to weld the joint so it dont leak when pulling I wouldn't. Some one makes a clamp that is leak proof for pulling applications and it works really good

You could use a sprayer pump or some type of external pump and pump oil into the oil pressure senor or gauge fitting on the side of the block or your Oil filter housing. And pre prime the engine then either drain some off afterwards if it's to full or if you havent put oil in yet just leave it a gallon low and put in a gallon with the pump then you won't be turning your engine over with

Yes the bigger plungers in a 800cc pump will put more fuel to the injector but your injector is only going to still put out so much it will just make the antimization better with more fuel. Don't worry about the amount of fuel going back to the tank. More worry about the psi of fuel to the injection pump. And if you go to a bigger pump get the biggest plunger you can even though you will not

Why didn't they just leave it alone or make it 3x3 smooth cover so we can use the same turbo just different cover? Now you just made the class more expensive expecially for the 2 tractor teams. To have 2 turbos for one tractor. Plus now everyone has to hit the dyno twice this winter once for farm show then again for beginning of season. Thanks for making it $10,000 for just one pull. Are IH has an aftermarket intake and it has a bolted flange on the manifold side and on the turbo side it uses a V band with the pipe made to fit no hoses at all. It's all rigid. When we had the truck intake on it had V Bands on both sides no hoses no flex. This is a super farm and most are all set up this way in this class.
