So what's the difference between putting weight on the pan which will make them hook up OR changing to 30.5s which will make them hook up and carry the front end and won't be stopped within 400 feet. Looks like everyone is crying for no reason bc it can easily be controlled by the sleds and sled operators. And having weight on the pan would be the CHEAPEST for EVERYONE bc they already h

Or the simple thing to do would be just put a block or two on the pan of the sled and it would be he cheapest for everyone considering the sled operators already have the spots and the weights duhh people more weight on the pan will make them hook up at the starting line.

Type in steering in the search bar and look for: Re. Pobar hydraulic steering. There is a whole post already started with part numbers and ideas.

Like rebel red said no one got hurt so the side shields did there job for the crowd and the cable around the engine did it's job for the drivers. Never seen a SF blow the bottom end out but everything above that. Yes a billet might help but they will eventually fail and that's where the cable and side shields come into play. And definitely the tie bars. No body ever wants to have there

Yeah we can use the full lenght of the ram but probably won't need it going down the track in super farm but might need it in the pits but atleast I have the full stroke available for to me to use.

Correct it won't bend bc there is two pivot points on each end of the ram.

V-8 cats ran faster than the inline 6. The gears might be faster but the input high and low gears where slower bc of the higher rpms.

U have to edit ur pics by down sizing the image by shrinking it and coping out what u don't need needs to be less than 250kb. Then just upload them. It's easy once u figure out how to shrink the pics.
Your welcome Blue Goose.

Go to performance steering components (psc) and look up psc-sc16 for the adapters to the ram and psc-tr100 for the tie rod part that goes between the ram and the steering arm and just put a bolt to connect tie rod end to steering arm end. I attached pics of the products from there website it is what I used on my NEW super farm tractor.

Just build one. U can buy everything under the sun for ih and jd just practically have to assemble it. Then u have what u want and not changing things after u buy it. We bought one and after looking at it they are easy to build. The engine is the hardest to do trying to figure out all u need and the machine work on block and heads

Which is better for super farm class old style pullers or new puller 2000s? Just starting out and want to get the right tire to begin with. Any helpful information would be appreciated.
