We have been running a 4 cyl Ford in Wisconsin for 7 years against mostly 6 cylinders. Doesn't always win but id definitely call it competitive

Just curious if anyone else noticed...in the other thread about the pull in Boyceville, there was a lot of discussion about rules for the hobby stock class. The promoter basically turned away 2 or 3 tractors because they had turbos. I won't even mention the fact that the guy who seemed most concerned didn't come. I get it, it's an NA class, but the results above indicate that there

Ran the powersavers on my light hot farm for 7 years, never once had a problem with them. Worked very well on both asphalt and clay tracks. They're actually for sale if you wanted them; size 18.4x38. PM me if interested

I'm not sure what was so bad there...I came, laid down two nice passes and all was good. Sure glad I pull in a class (light hot farm) where no one gets bent out of shape about little stuff like which tractor can make which weight. Cmon guys, let's show some gratitude for the guys and gals who worked hard to give us another place to hook. Thanks to everyone who helped (most of) the show

Pull was great, track was excellent. Thanks to everyone who helped out to make it a success. Ill be back next year. Any chance we could get the promoters to post the results here online? Maybe top 3 in each class? Name, tractor, distance, etc.
Also, if anyone there was videotaping the Open 6500 class, please send me a PM.
Thanks from the little 5000!

Pull still on? We got some rain last night but looks clear from here on out. Planning on heading that way, just making sure it's still a go.

Tossing around the idea of a new powerplant, but not sure yet. Not really looking to sell the whole tractor unless the deal was right. PM me for details or for specific questions.

Looking for some pulls to go to in the next couple months. 5500# to 7500# Hot farm open (no speed or RPM limit) classes. We have all safety equipment and a single turbo, 304 cu.in. that spins 4000 RPM. Would like to stay in Wisconsin or Eastern Minnesota. Dates, classes, contact phone number would be great. Thanks!

When I say open I assume no speed limit or pace. I have 304 cubes and ag tires (no cut) and all safety equipment. Are these classes paced or not?

Do you have a class list? Never been to this pull but we'd consider it if there's a class or two for us. We run an open hot farm tractor at 5500-8000 lbs.

We have a hot farm tractor (5500 lbs) and usually run open classes. We went to a pull that had a 10mph pace on an open class - we didnt want to try it but did anyway; we easily had 2-3 times the HP as the others in the class, but it was close. It came down to driver skill and proper weighting, etc. I did end up winning, but only by a couple feet. I don't want to stress that part, but more so

This is what a 304 looks like as a replacement for a 256:
I'm not 100% sure if you can use the Sims pump (We never bothered to try), but if you dont have to, don't. We have a P-Pump and it works very well.

Five years in a row in the #1 spot isn't enough proof that these guys are legitimate competitors? It took the red ones six years to finally win it. It's funny how you all forget about that. Give Kevin and Mark a break - they've been Class A competitors and strong supporters of the GN circuit for the last six years - they deserve a break from it if they want one. I wish them the bes

There is a LLSS class in the Badger State organization that has a rule that you can run twin chargers if under 310ci. or single turbo if under 466 (I think 466 is the upper limit - somebody please correct me if i'm wrong). I know that 310 is the limit for twins, and it's a very interesting class to watch. I believe the weight is 6700#. Personally I'd rather see it at 6000 or 6200,

I take that back - although we have only pulled under a pace (10 mph) once, it was a good learning experience. It was much different than what we're used to (open classes) but it's good to experience different things every once in a while. A Ford 5000 or 7000 is extremely competitive in light, paced classes and good luck to you. PM me if you have any questions about our tractor.

We sure do. But why would you want a 10 MPH speed limit? That doesnt sound like fun. Lol.

They make the best aluminum wheels you can buy. We have a set of their 38 inch rims (21 inches wide) on our hot farm tractor. They can be made any width and any offset - I am good friends with the guy who makes them. Send me a PM or contact them through the website for more info. Thanks
