What is the class order?

I can't remember the part number for the better stock 10.1 head at the moment but the 10.1 heads have bigger valves and flow better in stock form. 10.1 use smaller injector tips (7mm I believe) but it's easy to open them up to 3/8" and use the bigger tip injectors.

Coming up with an unique name isn't easy. Sometimes when you come up with the perfect name, you learn someone else already came up with it.

Something could have gotten pass the filter and dirty up the tip. Could be the needle sticking in the injector. Taking apart an injector is easy. Getting one apart without breaking the alignment pins is another story. My 400 series shop manual has a detailed description of rebuilding injectors. I have rebuilt a few stock injectors but you're much better off sending it to the pros.

I wear a mask when a business requires it. I don't trust the cheap masks you buy. I think the masks only give people a false sense of security. I was dumping a load of beans and decided to put on a mask to cut down on me inhaling the dust. To my surprise, I could still smell the dust. If a mask can't stop bean dust, I doubt it'll save me from the Corona virus.

This manifold sets the turbo on the back half and tilts the turbo over the motor. It's a T4 foot print.

I would be interested in China's real numbers. As bad as it has broken out in other countries with strict policies, you can't tell me China doesn't have more than 80,000 cases. China censored their citizens about the virus for a month.
China cares more about their image than their citizens or the truth.

If I remember right, motors over 480 CI will be limited to 2800 rpm this year.

Yes. You'll have to run 2800 rpm but legal to pull. The class is still trying to find the ways to make it fair for everyone so the rules are only good for one year. At the end of the year there will be a meeting to discuss any changes.

If you can weld, making your own isn't hard. I'm in the process of building one out of a combine final drive now.

I have last year's rules. Email or message me and I can send you them. Only difference this year is 480 CI and above or anything with a P pump is 2800 rpm instead of 3000. Because of insurance, helmets and fire suits are required for all classes.

I'm in that 11k altered farm class. There's several small blocks that run great and tough to beat.

I'm speaking from experience in a farm stock class with a 2.3" charger limit. The only thing that matters is speed.

As big block deere stated, cubic inches don't matter if you limit air. With today's drag race sleds it's all about who goes the fastest, not who has the most cubes. If it's a lugging sled, then cubes play a big factor.

Altered farm varies a lot depending where you're at. Usually it's a 2.3 to 2.5" turbo, 2600 to 3000 rpm, and no water. Some places require safety features (wheelie bars, roll over protection). A lot of places require rockshaft housing and PTO. Altered farm is in between actual farm stock and hot farm.
Hot farm usually has similar rules across state lines. 3" charger, water, top cut

First thing is to find an organization that has a class you're interested in and has a set of rules. Next is to start building your tractor to meet the rules. Altered farm should be a little cheaper to get into. With a 1066, you can get your feet wet in the altered class and then jump up later to hot farm.

Just a suggestion. With the season close to being over, it might be best to wait until after the next rules meeting. If the turbo rule changes, you just wasted money on a turbo you might not be able to use.

I've been tossing around the idea of installing an electric water pump, mainly to cool down the tractor without running. I have a Aqua Tiger 9700B on hand. What's the best way to plumb it? Use the stock locations or block off the front and water manifolds and use the tapped holes on the side of the block and return on front of the head? I was thinking about making a plate for the fro
