I'm curious as well. I have a 619 and the y style injectors. Have a 10.1L head laying around. Turbo limit is 2.3". I know the lines and injectors are different but I don't know which size injectors and lines to go with. Would the 10.1L head be worth the upgrade with the small charger?

Most economical way is to find a small hydraulic motor (like a JD 7720 reel motor from a scrap yard) and run it off the crank with a belt. I also bought a spin-on filter base for my fuel filter. I have around $200 or $300 in the whole set-up and have plenty of fuel.

Not this weekend but if you haven't seen the Spencer County fair book, they're having one Thursday night (the 27th).

So that's a vote for the 5020 manifold?

Currently running a gutted aftercooler from a 8650 I believe. Is there any advantage to using a 5020 intake? Current intake has hard to find flanges welded on and am considering switching to the 5020 intake (which I already have) so I can switch turbos easier. Thanks for any input.

I was just being facetious with the original poster. I'm a STO and my hindsight marketing plan says I should have contracted a lot more than I did. Back in June, the crops could have gone either way.

Naw, the BTO's probably contracted corn back in June when it was well over $4 and are expecting record yields according to the USDA. Most of the large farmers don't acquire land because they're dumb.

My tractor has been sitting in the shed for the past year. I have it ready now and looking for pulls. I'm not expecting to win. There's several good tractors pulling in the class. I have heard the red one has been putting it on everyone so far this year, 20 feet or better. Different color is good for the sport. I'm just hoping to go down the track and have the tractor load it

I would like to keep the RPM limit the same. The price for a competitive 2.3" turbo seems insane. For the price (I've heard $2600 for the top one) I'd rather buy a bigger turbo and jump classes or the river.

Battle of the Bluegrass. They used the rules from the local farm stock classes. They have refined them but really haven't changed them. Most of the pulls around here are based on those rules.

I would like to see a 2.5 or 2.6 turbo limit. There's enough truck pullers around that you could find plenty of turbos at a good price.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a 2.3 turbo now to meet the rules around here. I figured to be competitive up there I would need a bigger turbo.

Looking to pull around central Kentucky and southern Indiana depending on how hot the southern Indiana pulls are (uncut tires and turbo limit).

Thanks. I'm looking for a place to pull and haven't had much luck.

What's the cubic inch limit on it? Around home it's 470 but didn't know about Ohio.

What exactly is field stock? I might be interested in the 11,500 lb. class.
