New topic - 1 year ago

The page is getting slow! Let’s get something new to talk about! Any new interesting tractors being built? Will anyone attempt to build an electric puller in some form? Something I always wondered about was if a 4wd could ever run off of hydraulic motors at the wheels? How about the 4cyl diesel mini class is it ever going to take off? Let’s keep this positive, no need for bashing.

Re: Harvest - 1 year ago

Beans are mostly done and corn is getting started, but it’s still wet, some still has a green tint and ears haven’t fallen, due to all the Canadian smoke this summer West central Ohio

Re: Entry Level - 1 year ago

Well Mark now there’s 3 of us lol! Lewis and I have talked about doing it but it doesn’t gain any traction 3 tractors in 3 states might have to call it a series

Re: Hamas - 1 year ago

Cc you are correct I couldn’t change the blinker fluid in a muffler bearing without watching a you tube video first , BUT I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night!

Re: Any results from the enderle - 1 year ago

Quotetw4540 What a great show!! Went fast....until the New Caseih scrapper tractor broke down, Things happen. So many great pullers and they ALL let their machines hang it all out and didn't hold back! The list of super cool machines is endless at this pull! The drivers are so friendly and loved to talk about their machine. We live 8 miles north of the fairgrounds and still camped both night

Re: 466 Hot Farm East Coast Pro Puller accident last night - 1 year ago

If I read this right, the exhaust wheel exited the exhaust pipe? Did it have cross bolts? If so, do they need to cover more area ?

Re: 5.0 Pro Stock HP - 1 year ago

The man said that’s what Wimer’s told him. I’ve watched these tractors twice in the past week and they run good, Bowling Green will show the difference

Re: ESG and farming - 1 year ago

It’s called solar panels, they plan on eliminating most of us, so less need for food, besides that they are already growing the meat in the factory, I don’t think we’ll be around to worry about 2030

Re: Alcohol Dollars - 1 year ago

I’d gladly write Carlton a check for a pass on Warpath ! Whole lot cheaper than the ownership.

Re: Lowry Sled Malfunction - 1 year ago

Nothing against any sleds , but I liked hooking to the Hillbilly Deluxe out of Kentucky, it will let you get going but can still stop you without slamming to a stop.

Re: 20.8X38 vs. 20.8X42 - 1 year ago

I went from 18.4-38 to 18.4-42 at around 3000 rpm and 6500-7500 # and gained 5mph if that helps you any.Unfortunately I’m looking for 38’s again because I have nowhere to run anymore so I’m gonna end up running mph classes I guess

Re: Lowry Sled Malfunction - 1 year ago

There’s plenty of technology to prevent this from happening with back up plans for backup plans For one I’d hope the sled operator would notice that the box is not moving and it’s not going to end well so he has some control over the situation I believe micro switches could sense that the wheels are moving but the box isn’t and create some type of alert,

Re: Thanks Tomah - 1 year ago

ALL pulling venues need to take notes from Summit Raceway Park Sat through the finals last Sunday and could hear everything being said with Nitro cars running in the background They have huge speakers mounted to the concrete all along the track In my opinion the biggest thing holding pulling back is the sound system everywhere, I don’t care how familiar you are with the sport, it can be hard

Canadian smoke - 1 year ago

Anyone having trouble with all the smoke? Definitely getting ridiculous, it’s effecting the crops and gardens here in Ohio, even noticed my solar fence charger slowing down.

Blower motor teams question - 1 year ago

I notice blower motor teams checking timing more and more often than before,my question is why? Is it do to wear or fuel mixture or maybe atmospheric or just vibration? Just curious.
