When I had my Super we only had "1" binder. what we did was we had a HEAVY short chain with a slip hook and dropped it into the "secondary" rear hitch, pulled it tight with the winch and had 1 ratchet binder bolted directly to a plate in the floor and hooked the other end to a welded ring under the front weight box.we hauled it that way for 20 years and it never came loose

I am currently at this time just putting a "Feeler" out the for a "MINI ROD ONLY" Pull in my home town of Dorr MI. there is a track right by my farm that we can use, I will build the track, provide the sled " Nearpass" and as of last night had a sponsor whom wishes to be unnamed kick in a substancial amount of money to help make this happen. but i need to have commitments from the pullers before

I have driven a DSS for 20+ years and the Mini is a "Safer" ride than my DSS was. due to the low center of gravity. a person can make any class look "wild" and on the edge , but with common sense and good driving ability the Mini rod class is by far safer that the DSS is. Jim

I do believe that their dirt track where the pull will be held is part of the Lucas Racing Series, that may have something to do with it, but this is just a "Guess"
