I think it depends on what's available for you at good price in your area. 18.4 38s work great for us. But the guys out west like 20.8 38s not sure 3lm tractors would be good with much bigger or worth the money going bigger then that for ya. If you want a good ride its definitely a power to weight ratio deal. Lighter the better I think. But everyone is different just my opinion.

So not all younger guys are stuck to their phones... There is a 50/50 split in my area as far as older(55+) guys to younger (20-35) in all levels weather its antique up through the hot farm and state level area. I have been pulling since I was 7 years old starting out antique and there is plenty more people my age and younger pulling. Most of us will never pull in any NTPA or PPL level classes bu

I have Datamaxx and it is a great system. No issues with system 24 hour support and they was great to work with on setup. The system is easy to expand on and add new sensors later for a reasonable price.

I got mine from Haslag Steel, it is very nice and fits the sheet metal well. They make aluminum or they did mine in steel so I could make a one piece hood.

with the 2.33 your right it keeps horse power close. turns the game into tractor setup and tires and driver. these tractors seem to react well to being ran as hard as the rules allow meening if ur allowed 3250 you better leave the whole at 3240 bc its hard to maintain rpm with the little charger and big gear.. its interesting choosing weights some day because u need enough front weight to get out

We are a fairly green group so far and we all have helped each other build so far and know whats in them right now but we have been open to let guys run if its midway thru and not prove cubes but they are always open to be protested and they will be required to prove cubes that winter or before the next season starts. We try to be fair but gotta be strict to try to build the class..

I attached our rules we run and it is cost effective and fun. we can also get sold into bigger shows bc we don't have to listen to that damn horn.. I just cant see spending any big amount of money to have to pull a speed limit class.. smoke and speed limits don't sell tickets. We are also on you ube and facebook look up (Tri State Limited Hot Farm)

Im planning on running it natural aspirated. mostly in 3.5 and 5 mph classes so should have to worry too much about the gears and such and honestly if it makes 150 or so hp that's really all I will need for now. I do wish I could remember which website I seen that flywheel on though. Also who is making T/A parts for these things
