Go to your salvage yard and buy a worn out drawbar or one that's broke off, if it's long enough, they usually sell them cheap.

Yes, we ground the block where the bottom inside pump bolt goes about 1/8" deep and ground the pump so there was about 3/32 material left between the hole and the outside edge of the pump flange. Also have to cut the lower left side of the pump flange off to tilt the pump out or it hits the block, grind the frost plug boss toward the back of the pump down and install a new frost plug deeper. 10PCs 6.35x 6.35X6.35mm N52 1/4" x1/4" x1/16" Square Rare Earth Block Magnets, got them off eBay. I used this and it works well, glued it to the damper too with similar glue that comes with the IssPro magnetic sensors.

Not sure, I've heard 400-500 on the small chassis 70 series, not sure on the large chassis 70/90 series. The wet clutch is an issue on the 90 series 8 speed when the power gets up there is what I've heard.

20 & 2290 had a manual 8 speed option like the 9/10/1170 & 1175's. The 90 series is a lot heavier housing and has a wet clutch. They all have the same engine clutch housing bolt pattern.

Just curious, have you tried a smaller exhaust housing on the one you have now?

$100K?! then people wonder why no new tractors are coming into the class. At that much money blown, they should be in the 8500 LLP class.

That's a matter of opinion on the girdle, even if you don't add it, you're still not acknowledging the turbo and water cost more money.

lol, girdle, turbo and water injection aren't free unless it's somebody else's money putting the parts on your tractor

Add water, add rpm, bigger turbo, sled gets set heavier - little to no change in results, less money in puller's pocket & their starter class costs even more to get into. It'll probably happen.

I've seen the cheap ones used, not sure how long they last but I know one that has been in for a year or two. I use the Intellitronix tach, on year 2, so far no problems.

You can get a cheap digital tach w/ sensor on ebay for $25 or less. Intellitronix makes one w/ memory that fits in a 3 3/8" hole for $115, need a magnet and a tach sensor.

"Depends on who does em" numbers are close to what I've seen, by cleaning up the ports on a basic job using stock valves for a limited rpm class. Better numbers can be achieved if you want to spend more $. If you're going to do it, I'd switch to automotive type valves for a better selection of retainers and springs.

If you don't have to run the 3LM, get the S300. You can get a 5 gallon aluminum fuel cell off ebay for around $65 w/ bigger fittings, take the filler cap off and pull the foam block out of it.

The nut on a 3LM will work loose when it's working hard, you need to use red locktite on the nut or it will keep spinning loose. Some shops will pin the wheel to prevent it from coming loose and the nut doesn't have to be overtightened. Also don't expect them to last too long if your exhaust pressure and boost pressure aren't fairly close to each other, if they're not

There should be timing marks on the harmonic balancer and a pointer on the timing cover to set static timing. Take the plug out of the timing cover by the pump and roll the engine over until the marks line up on the pump and then check the timing mark on the balancer. Adjust the throttle stop on the pump to increase rpm.
