Some people don't want to run a 640 for many reasons. Pulling in a class where the field is level like a 466 class makes the placing a lot closer abd more exciting than run what you brung. And not everyone is about just dumping more money into their tractor to say they have a 640. If you want to run a 640 then pull superfarm. The man asked about a 466 limited pro class not a 640 class.

It's still a 3000 series pump it's just an 8 cylinder model instead of a 6 cylinder. Haven't you evrr seen a 4 cylinder a pump. It's still an a pump. People hate success just because he wins with out a cookie cutter tractor he's instantly a cheater

J&r is right but before you do this. Look into just buying a set or pistons for the IH rods. I have looked at both was. Trust me there's no money to be saved by the time u do the machining and fool around getting the Deere rods to swing in the block. You also have to put theDeere rods in backwards so you have to grind on the block to get them to swing.. just a heads up for you

Ok im not sure what everone else on here is talking about but ill give you the easiest route. Find a hy capacity dealer or ag parts whatever your preference is tell them you want a ta for a 1066 but special built with a big shaft. They will have to special order it for you maybe cost an extra hundred dollars. Then there is a kit for the ipto chaft for a 1566 that will allow you to use the stock m

Why not try running like a H1 or an HX35 holset on it. Lots of housing options and cheap. Can prob find a used one off a dodge pick up for 200 bucks. Seam to work real good on a set up like your talking about.

I am just wondering what people are using for an electric pusher pump on tractors still running a model 100 pump. And what kind of pressure people are running. Thanks in advance for the info.

Really? never seen a tractor with a pusher pump from the factory? Guess your not much of a wrench then because a lot of deeres such as 6000 and 7000 run a pusher pump at 4 or 5 psi to a diaphram pump to a rotart injection pump. It eliminates starving of fuel at start up, makes bleeding a whole ton easier, makes the diaphram pump last about four times as long, and keeps everything a whole lot cool

I didnt know anyone was forcing you to go to the pull. I guess if you cant handle switching back and forth each year then the real men will have to pull on sunday again. Sense this is i believe the second year the tractors have been on a sunday. And also sense there are as said before 40 class's of tractors that are 95 horse that no one wants to see what would be the point in haveing the guy

Are the guys with the trucks traveling 6 hours to get there? Because i know how far it is from addison to there, and also from upstate ny to get there and if its on a saturday theres a good chance there will be alot more tractors there. But then again i guess it is hard for all your street legal trucks to get out of bed on a sunday morning to drive 15 mins to the pull.

466 is no different than a 414 or a 436. Same block. You can put it in any old red you want if you match up your engine plates right.

There is a 560 up in vermont that runs real good but it isnt any 1000 hp. Maybe somewhere between 500 and 600. I would love to see a 560 rear end hold up to 1000 hp. They broke stock talk about putting that kind of hp to it.
