The problem of going bigger is the turbos we have now become expensive door stops. Just go to a smooth cover, leave the exhaust where it is. If you want more power go to 4.1. We are on the verge of 8,000 dollar turbos for hotfarm/ superfarm. So what if we have to back up a little , we all back up won't change a thing, the sled has gears. I would rather spend 2,000 on a new wheel and cover th

Have .105 wire oring , .050 copper gasket. Groove is about .005 wider than oring, is that enough? Round groove not square
Might be time for c rings, can't keep them sealed, won't blow out but under heavy load can hear them leaking. Just wonder if machine work might be a little off or just switch to crings, thx

Don't waste your time on power shift, 30 series rear ends are more plentyful but 70 series has a better shift basket.each brand has it's own little clicks, but the Case can be made to run with any of them. Fuel and air, doesn't matter what color the block.

I've been working on Case motors for over 30 years, you want the big journal block and crank! Then you have to put the head stud in the back so the back of block doesn't blow out. Then you have to address the idler issue, bigger bolt along with better hub . It's not always stroke gives you torque, air speed, exhaust speed, speed of injection, swirl in the head etc......

I would use big journal block with skirt oilers and de stroke it. You'll want the bigger bore for bigger valves
