Jim,
Thank you for your input!
I have attached a preliminary drawing to this post to show the profile of the tire, which will be very similar to the 20.8R38 tire we have developed.
We will continue to offer financing options for this tire, like we do on all the other tires we sell. For a low monthly fee, you can finance these tires through a third party company, cutting down on the upfron

Pro Puller Tires will begin to make the 18.4 38 double cut pulling tire in the near future and we would like to get some opinions on specs for the tire. We want to make sure we build the tire to full spec so they can be used in any association allowing cut tires. Let us know what your association allows!
What circumference would be optimal for the tires? We have been thinking around 217", depe

Legal, here is some information to help you understand the tire rules a little better.
The rules in most associations state explicitly that 24.5x32 tires must be 25" wide or less.
Go to the NTPA official website and check out this page where Larry Richwine clarifies the ruling. Below is an excerpt of the tire question from the page.

To address the 25 inch shoulder to shoulder questions, we have made a caliper measuring exactly 25" wide and put it on a couple tires and they have all fit within spec. The included pictures may give you a better idea of what to look for moving forward. The tire width is in the mold and shouldn't vary from tire to tire. We have designed these to get the most traction possible and still remai

Our tires have been coming in around 430-440 lbs per tire.
The 26.5 inches in width mentioned above is somewhat of a skewed measurement because it accounts for the curve of the tire in the face, not the actual width. When measuring strictly from edge of tread to edge of tread, they come out at 25" wide, which is within the legal spec for tires. Other factors such as varied rim widths could sk

The tires are all going to be compliant with major associations, with a 210" circumference and within spec on width when a caliper is used to measure. There has been major discussion on tire rules the last few months and we are having active conversations with associations to ensure we stay compliant moving forward. Our goal is to put out a product that gives an advantage both with traction as we

There are many differences between the two tires. The most notable being the amount of footprint in the dirt. Pro Pullers can give you almost 60 inches more footprint than other tires on the market. This allows you to hook into the dirt better and give you a great run without spinning excessively. Feel free to contact us with any questions, email aaron@pro

Casey Asmus got first place with the new 20.8 Pro Puller Tires! There are videos of his test hook, as well as the actual hook Saturday afternoon on our Facebook page. The videos are also featured on our website. Our Facebook page also has tires of the tires mounted, unmounted, and on the tractor.
We are happy with what we saw out of the tires for the lighter class he was in. In the future mor

Tires are shipped and will be delivered soon! Everything is on schedule for testing at the Cornhusker Classic Pull next weekend. Until then, we'll be keeping things "under wraps". As for the sizing, we will fully comply with all rules and regulations on the tires to remain legal and give a competitive edge.

Here is an additional picture of the side of the tire.
As Bruce has mentioned, it is not our intention to make the sport more expensive but give another option. As good used tires become harder to find, we hope this tire will make the cutting easier for everyone and try to remain at a competitive price compared to new tires. We will be offering many options in the next few years to ensure pri

As hard as it is to find 20.8X38 tires that really work, and won't break the bank, we are in the process of finalizing the design and mold for the new 20.8X38 10 ply Pro Puller Tires, and want to know the optimum specs that those who use that size, would like to see.
These will look just like the 24.5X32 Pro Pullers that we have pictured on our web site (propullertires.com), but be in the
