How are you guy attaching your cages to your tractors on 560 rears? I'm leaving the stock top plate on for now, but plan on aluminum plate later. Pictures would be nice.

Looking to do a 560 for hot stock/hobby farm. They are brush pulls pretty open rules. Thing I'm wondering is when do you start to go to billet internals in the rear? H.p. speaking. I've heard 500-600, some say more as long as you are letting them spin and not pulling hard. Going to be in the 6500-7000 range when fully assembled.

When you guys dry block, do you run water in the head at all? Just want to learn how you get them cooled back down if you get to re-pull.

Can you convert the John Deere p pumps to work on ih? I would assume the only thing would be the delivery cam?

Thanks guys. I unfortunately do not have a Dyno. The nearest one is $75 an hour. They touch everything. I will bump it up a couple to 16 and see how she goes. Thanks once again.

Looking for some information about a stock d312. I know static timing is 13*. I'm using this tractor for pulling in a n/a farm stock class. 3000 rpm limit, 6mph. How far can one bump the timing up to? I have heard some of the high rpm engines run them way up near 40*.

Yea, I have seen some bad things. I was unaware that they were other cast parts. Thought that maybe there were pressed or machined steel. Thanks for the input.

I was really looking into Kenny's dual disk clutch. I am planning for about 500hp before too long.

Where can you buy just a steel flywheel? Can you run them with stock pressure plate and friction disk?

Also, how about the torques? Will they hold up to the same if the pressure is shimmed up?

Looking to know if anyone knows the limit for the stock clutch on a 1066. I have acquired a 1066 that I plan to pull with and use for light farm work. Any help would be appreciated. I know you can buy aftermarket. But let's try to keep the topic to max HP the clutch will hold.
Forgot to mention we are looking at 2800-2900 rpm.

I would like to get my 560 down to 7000 lbs farm stock. Cannot run turbo so that is out of the question. I would like to know what I should do to be able to keep up with the rest of the pack.
