They didn't sound like "jack o,s" to me. The responses were a great discussion and in the end we ended up with a definitive explanation of how the hydraulic system works with the clutch pedal pressed i

Very cool! What do you charge for one of the Jd you have pictured? Do you take custom orders?

Check out this website, it answers your questions and has contact info for the campground. This time of year it might be tough to get a spot for the show.

I agree, first check your air filter, fuel pressure, and check for boost leaks.

Very interested in the top ten pulls list. I've been to many pulls in Ohio and Indiana but would definitely like to hear about big ones from other states.

Interested in this for sure. I don't see near 8000 hooks per year so I'm not going to give a ranking. Although, it seems that the top 5 would be Midwestern states.

Charge at gate , credit cost to entry fee
That is what they do where I pull. I wouldn't go if I had to pay both fees.

Great thread! Very cool to see the different versions and interesting the lack of safety for competitors and spectators, compared to today's standards.

The last pull I was at with a speed limit, they used a speed readout at the end of the track and it worked great. Very visible from from the drivers point of view.
