Everybody is equally on kill these days. There is also less variety under the hoods. We're at a phase in pulling history where it's easier to write a check rather than innovate.
Europe seems like they still innovate. Groups of nerdy engineers and machinists push European teams. Writing check to handful of builders seems less common.
If everyone runs the same fuel and air how are

I agree 100%. It should have never been a 500 cubic inch class. The 400 series motors were never needed. It should have been 340-370 cubic inch motors.
Poor rules are why we have so many classes. LLSS is a direct result of poor LSS rules.
We have 27,000 single charger diesel classes because Prostock rules were so bad from their inception..
We band-aid bad rules with new classes. Then w

Dick Morgan and Jake Morgan are two different people.
The horsepower number is an interesting discussion but not what I (Jake) want to talk about. Whether it should be a national class is also outside of what I (Jake) was trying to focus on.

now I did grow up watching some of the great “mural tractors” painted by Villio and others and they were and still are some of the coolest to exist...
nothing makes them look iconic anymore.
I agree. Those Villio tractors and murals were iconic. Unique.

I split the topic about should limited classes be at top level events off to it's own thread . I think it's a great topic on it's own.
As far as this discussion, the fact remains that the Super Farm class is a national class. It's been a national class for a very long time now. Since it's a national class and since it got such a long history on the national circuit (

It's no different than any partnership. I think Fullpull might be majority owner (not 100% sure though). I believe WPI also provided funds. I'm not sure if there were other investors or if VanBeek kept a portion of ownership, All I know is that it's a partnership.
As for whether it's a good move for Fullpull, no I don't need to know what they paid (if I did I would ha

Maybe meet in the middle... 6700-7000 lb class would a great shorter term solution and then see what direction makes the most sense for the class longterm. Personally I prefer lighter in most cases for classes but that's just a preference.

This is a great move by Fullpull Entertainment and interesting that they partnered with WPI. This cooperation is what pulling needs moving forward.
It will be interesting seen how their classes (and hopefully some events) are streamline and unified in the next couple of years.

Let’s set aside the horsepower numbers. Let’s set aside the rules and what the should or should not be (or what they should have been from the beginning). Let’s set aside some unfortunate incidents where pullers in the class have gone outside the rules in past years. My question is simple, is it the least respected class in pulling? My follow-up question is do they deserve it?

Jason,
Thanks for the video, and thanks for sharing your side of the story. As I said in a topic about the Hook magazine recently, these two topics have been my least favorite topics on the page in a very, very long time. I thought long and hard about deleting both of them, but in the end I don’t think that does any good for the motorsport, and ultimately it makes it look like there’s somethin

Kevin,
Thanks for the great explanation. I really appreciate your transparency and clearing the air on your plans and products.
I wish you and Colin the best in this new chapter of Hypermax. Such an amazing legacy in this motorsport and I'm sure both your families are honored to be part of the history of such a transformational company. I can't wait to see you guys continue t

Absolutely stupid response. There isn't a single thing bashing the NTPA in the post. It's a legit question, especially for the Florida classes.

Sure, most of those questions seem like fair game. (as a side note: I'm pretty sure Larry Roberts was asked multiple times about how many trucks R&L Carriers had on the road and he just gave a range "about XXXXX trucks" He didn't seem defensive or offended like it was a weird question... just an everyday question)
Have you ever watched any sports? Ever see the stories of the guys

Couldn't agree more. I'm not sure what everyone thinks farmers have to hide. Fans want to know something about the pullers and their lives. Acres, type of farm, herd size, number of trucks on the road, company size etc... (whether they are farmers or something else). These are all things that help the average fan connect with the pullers. Fans love to know how pullers finance this

First, Calm down. Your acting like a child. You're contacting Fendt, IHRA and PPL? Get a freaking life. That's what a pathetic loser busy body Karen does. If your life is that empty find a second hobby, maybe building ships in a bottle or something because that would be a better use of your time as opposed to trying to get Bryan fired. Maybe give your outr

Well John, I have an acres of hay too but I also have an acre of wooded swamp land so I have twice as much land as you. That makes me twice the person you are. I'm twice as rich and twice as important. If I put my mind to it I could grow a mustache twice as long as you.

Some people care about the Kardasians,,, some don't. Some care about football... some don't. Different people care about different things. Some people care about tractors, some trucks. Some people actually care about the people that own and pull the tractors too. Who are you to tell anyone what to care about? If you don't care about something then don't worry about it. I

A 466 class means 466 cubic inch maximum (some clubs have a variance to allow a certain percentage over).
If it was a 466 block then it would only be an IH or John Deere class. I've never seen a rule/club/org that would ban Fords, Moline, Case etc... since they don't have a 466 block.

I think we (fans, pullers, etc...) view the entire sport, no matter what era, with rose colored glasses but that's a different topic.
I do think we tend to look back with rose colored glasses. I think part of that is because those older days were simpler: Less classes (less confusion), less money, less purchased parts. There was more creativity and innovation. It was something that see

Actually John Raymond got shafted when they changed the rules. He was a Big Block Deere and was over 540 CID and was forced to decube to stay legal.
Generally the diesels stay at lower displacement because they generally don't live at higher displacement and higher boost.
To the original question... I'd ask what the LLSS guys run for boost pressure in a diesel vs. an alcohol trac
