I use a B&M automatic transmission cable. I've had it on my tractor for several years with no troubles.

My Dad and I built a stretched Farmall M in 1995 with a Pontiac Engine and a th400 transmission ahead of the tractor transmission. I pulled it a couple years until there was an accident at a local pull and the "mod" class pretty much got shut down. After that it was several years before I went back to pulling, got married, had kids, you know how it goes, but I pulled my Dad's 1256 in farm cl

We used Hy-Tran with 2 gallons of Lucas oil stabilizer added to it. It did not settle out, and it coats the gears and carries very well in the rear end and transmission. I've had the cover off to check numerous times since we did this and it works good.

Can I make a D282 into a D301 by just pulling the sleeves and installing D301 pistons? I can't find any information on what a D282 bore is sleeveless. This is a farm tractor, and all the bore is standard. Thanks.

Paull, mine is a triple disc, but you can also get it in 2 disc. It came with an SFI steel flywheel and it cost me around $2500. It will be a little cheaper if you get a 2 disc. Also, you can use the factory starter.

I am running an Atlas clutch and I really like it. I also put in the 1 piece input shaft and sped things up with faster constant mesh gears. That way I can run the 2nd and 3rd spot in the transmission.

I was just curious on how much power/torque some of you guys have ran through a 560 rearend and transmission before you have problems with stock gears, ring and pinion, bull gears etc. I have Atlas constant mesh gears, input shaft and clutch, and I run in the factory 2nd gear spot usually, and want to try the 3rd spot. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I really like the 3 disc clutch/flywheel I got from Atlas Tractor. It's a pedal clutch and the pedal isn't terrible hard to push, I can slip it on take off as long as I need, and there is no slip on the business end of the track.

This is a great question Mr.dodgeman. I have been trying to find the right turbo for a couple years. Here's what I have learned from asking around. The cummins like a bigger exhaust side, like 3.4". I have also been told that Stainless Diesel is the place to go for a exhaust manifold, make sure to get a T-4 or T-6 foot. Engineered Diesel and Stainless Diesel have good 2.5" turbochargers. I r

We ground the thin hardened layer off the axle and then heated the axle to 200 degrees. We then tack welded the hub plate in several spots and kept it square to the axle with a carpenters speed square. Each hub plate was then welded 3 passes front and back, and we also put 3 gussets on the back side of the hub plate. Same as Oly did above, a wet rag was wrapped around the axle housing at the seal

Joyce Becker, (715)-357-3076. She has had posts on the for sale page in the past. I have gotten a couple from her and an intake horn cover and they have all been very good pieces, and they stay on driving down the highway. Quick delivery too.

Update: I spoke earlier today with Guy Nelson, the president of Southwest Wisconsin Pullers. Guy is willing to give this class a try at his pulls. It's going to be called 6500lb Outlaw class. It will be paced at 18mph, 20" drawbar height, 18.4x38 max tire size, any tire any cut, and run what you brung. Diesel, gas, turbos, NA, V-8s, anything goes. There will be required safety equipment fro

That's the idea guys, not a ton of rules and run what you brung. I figured the speed limit would keep things in check and be a good Class for us pullers that wanna go faster than 8 or 10 mph and still kind of be an affordable class. Thanks for all the input guys, I will post again once I meet with the clubs president.

I don't have an ice box, and nothing is injected. Was thinking about water injection but havent done it yet. I run 100 octane aviation gas. I dont run near the boost that you guys are talking. Would and HX35 turbo and a 750 Holley double pumper be a good combo? I was thinking about 25 pounds of boost. Thanks!

I run a C301 with a turbo pulling through a 4 barrel. How much boost dare I run on the motor with stock rods, pistons and crank. It runs 4500-5000rpms. And what is the best choice for the turbo? Runs good now, just looking for more power. Thanks.
