Another stupid rule because someone didn't follow the rules!! Another cost to a sport that's to expensive now! And no vendors or costs figured out yet! There are how many hundreds if no thousands of turbo's that will need this in the next 6 months and no approved vendors to make them. Some of the turbo plumbing is so tight now there isn't any extra room for this. Who knows how

The 336 is a good engine, but age and limited use will make parts expensive, there are 2 different crankshafts used depending on HP, some have the same rod and main journal size as the high HP 504 motors, but are very hard to find, others have the same rod and main journal size as all of the older Racine built motors going way back to the 400, This may at best be marginal for size and strength fo

In the past we have seen them blown out on stock tractors, years back the gasket material was changed to some junk that won't harm the environment , seems like that's when the problem started, try using contact cement on both sides, I think it's more of a vibration issue than pressure also be sure your heads are lined up and the manifold is flat.

also the early 400 series motors have shorter main bearing bolts and the main bolt webbing does not go up into the block as far. Most builders won't use them for higher HP applications.

You need to find a 970-1070 8 speed tractor or chassis as you can not put an 8 speed trans in a 1370, the steel flywheel most likely isn't needed at 3000 RPM, the clutch housing on all power shift tractors is wet, meaning it has trans oil in it, plus the fact of the power shift drum and planetary spinning over 3000 RPM isn't a good idea. As far as the 1370 trans problem you have now,be

I think waiting for parts and the expense to have a competitive tractor have a lot to do with the low numbers. Not that long ago some 3.9 and 4.1 pretty much stock turbo's were all that was needed to compete and most time you could run most if not all season without a major breakdown, 2500 or so HP would live, now 3500-4000 and up HP can't live. There used to be 10 LSS tractors in WTPA,

I often thought that 2WD diesels would be interesting to see, no complicated drive train, no hopping and jumping, just stand the front end up and see the black smoke roll out! But there are to many classes now, just an idle thought

You have to use 3.1416 times your hole size, that will show that the 4 hole injectors will put out more fuel stock than the 5 hole injectors

How about a 2WD diesel class?? It should be less expensive than trying to make a 4wd drive train hold up, Plus the crowd effect of the front end in the air and the black smoke rolling out and no hopping or jumping of the drive train??
