Green With Envy was sold to someone in WI and word is they are building a new one.
Beyond that I have not heard of any for sure.
2 not on the lists is Henry Smith's Sneaky Snake (not the OG that runs as a Light Pro) and Radical Red.

There is Another one sitting in a barn in southeast mi besides smiths

The two venues may be 500miles apart but do you realize how many of the pullers at Chapel Hill run PPL?
The only class it will affect much are unlimiteds only if PPL runs modifieds. Chapel Hill doesn't run TWD, USS,, LSS, SF, SSD FWD and Semis so no effect there.
Chapel Hill is a limited entry event, so for the classes they do run, it's not Bowling Gree

I don’t know how old you are but I’ve been going to pulls for 45 years and I paid $20 to get in 25 years ago, be glad you have a pull to go to and quit complaining because if that breaks you up then you probably don’t have any business going anyways
My thoughts exactly! Thank you for being blunt and to the point!!!!

Andy, I've said many times that pullers are their own worst enemy me included but that doesn't change the fact that the sport in general has evolved to a one and done format. I think the majority of pullers prefer it that way, not all but most. One of the most enduring pullers in the mod class is Ken Miller, he has refused to pulloff for as long as I can remember

Well Mr Gump when Earnhardt passed in the grass if he destroyed a car he didn't have to pay for it his sponsors did...he didn't have to fix it his crew did. Back in the grand old days of pulling guys were running basically stock Chevy's with blowers on top making 1000 to 1200 HP. Now we run the same engines you see in NHRA cars and we not only don't hav

Either way you cut it, more pulling on the weekend is better. Starting thursday and having an addtional day off then rather than monday is the same thing. The crowds on sunday were way bigger than Thursday night or Friday noon, and thats because its the weekend, plus the classes on sunday were quite frankly the best.
Catering to the camping crowd isnt going to increase th

Andy, I'm not sure if you realize that the NTPA doesn't pull those classes anymore. Stop looking at your 1987 "Puller" magazine and get with the 21 first century.
Dick you said " crowds were NEVER good on Sunday" crowds were way bigger on Sunday then any Thursday night show today. If you were there then you'd know that! Your "1987 puller mag" comment was funny

As far as the heavy SS and the heavy mods only hooking on Sunday I believe that that would quite a feat when all classes run twice. And I'm pretty sure that those classes you just mentioned never hooked twice in one day.
No Dick and Jake you obviously have no clue. It used to be 75ss on Saturday afternoon, 95 ss on Saturday night and heavy ss (10-12) on Sunday and same f

Do not bring back the Sunday session. The fans and campers want to get home and get back to work on Monday. The crowd's were never good for Sunday. Finish up Saturday night when you have the largest crowd.
Apparently Dick you must go to a different Bowling Green Ohio then I do! The crowds were huge on Sundays. Everybody wanted and waited to see the Heavy supers and He

Lets no forget in 1979 a young kid coming to BG and winning the ss class 42 years later ( and many national titles) that same guy in 2021 gets a 2nd place on Friday night, wins the Saturday afternoon class on a MONSTER PASS along with the championship ring and for the most locked up another GN title. If you know the man and who he has helped throughout his career then you might understand his p

If I’m not mistaken, is t there an ongoing tussle with the Wood County Fairgrounds and the NWTPA over use if the fairgrounds? I don’t think this would be a good time to change too much. Let’s be happy Bowling Green WILL HAPPEN THIS YEAR!
They can "tussle" all they want but wood county would come up on the shortend of the stick! There is a LION waiting in the weeds just dyin

I'd love to see the Light Pros in BG, I think it's a great class. However, CP is right (mostly), GN already has single limited charger 24.5 tire classes. I'd argue that Light Pro probably has the best rules out of those offerings but Super Farm and Pro Stock have a tradition there.
Sf? BG? Tradition? That is laughable!!! Super farm, Light pro, limited pro,

The option has been there since the day the class split, that a dss could jump into the open as class when any competitor choose to do so. This is not new or revolutionary!!! The combined class already exists and has for years!!! I've followed pulling and drag racing like religion for 40 plus years and not one time have I ever asked any competitor in any motorsport to push the envelope or to

What's the end game?? Answer is pretty simple! You all keep yammering about forcing a combined ss class what will happen is some guys will park their equipment and or go run with the outlaws!! If some want to run against the alcohol tractors that is great and I love to see it but it's wrong to force competitors to run a class that they want no part of!! I know damn well if I had a dss

In Jason's defense it was in good humor and I took no offense to the "Dick" comment he made to me! I appreciated that he live feed the dss in iowa and I made a smarta$$ comment asking him what a dss was? He and i both knew it was in humor and nothing more. I'm new to this tractor pulling thing but hasn't there always been a combined SS class??? Couldn't the DSS run in the unlimited ss class anytime they wanted to?? Please excuse my lack of knowledge but I think the DSS chose not to hook with the whiskey burners! Congrats to colin and the Ross family on their win and i think it's great they got the job done!!!

Dave stangle did pull his personal farm tractor in 71. The family still has that tractor and farms with it. Sold junk of Ron Perry's ( dave stangle drove) came from J.R Herriot. If you notice or remember on pics of solid junk it said H&P pulling team. That stood for Herriot&Perry pulling team!

Read what I wrote! I'm with 100% when enough is enough but I have a problem when it is billed under false pretenses " unlimited"! Its clearly not unlimited when they knock OD speed down. I for one think 14s are big enough for a heavy mod class since they're still pulling for purse money from the 1980s!! With that being said I believe that the two big mod organizations should align rul

It's no longer a unlimited class. Once they curtailed the OD on screwblowers it became a heavy mod class!!! Call it what it really is. That being said, have a light mod and heavy mod class. Make the heavy mod align with ppl using whomever rules and be done with it!

I'm pretty sure for many years Lexington AL had their NTPA state/regional/grand national pull the same weekend as BG back in the 90's
Lexington, AL was the week prior to BG. In fact, NTPA had crazy scheduling where Hamburg Wed/Thurs and drive all night for Lexington Fri/Sat.
Early 90s lexington Alabama and Pocono was the same weekend as BG
