I have NOTHING against alky ss at all. I'll make that clear and i enjoy watching them. I take issuse with combining the classes when some of dss guys have made it clear that they have no intrest in a combined class! Outlaws have roughly 15 hooks for DSS and there is also some region ntpa hooks. That does give them still a place to pull. Lets also not forget IPL has added a HSS class as well

The two classes are already a combined class and has been for almost 20 years. The DSS could run the OSS class anytime they wished with both the NTPA and PPL. The fact is most Dss choose not to run/support the OSS class. Forcing a combined class to promote your agenda is wrong unless you're writing the checks or doing the work. As a 40+ year diehard fan of HSS pulling, i fully endorse any a

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but they have already combined the class years ago. The Diesels could hook with the whiskey burners anytime they wanted!! Some have chose to over the years at differnt events but only a select few. Combining the alcohol and the diesel ss tractors is not a new idea or concept. They already are combined!

And so it starts!! History repeating itself all over again. There is plenty of pulling for OSS over at ppl. Since there is only 2 OSS on ntpa schedule why dont lusticks run ppl? Its obvious the promoters with ntpa dont want the OSS class since only 2 events are booked for 2020. As mentioned above, its funny that they throw out the 903 crowd then want help of the DSS now to save their class??? S

Single season # of hooks is Ed Boyer from back in the 70s. Hooked 167 times one year, next year 165 times another year 162 times and those numbers were with a superstock! Thats a helluva lot of pulling!

Benny mckinnon and john Hileman. John won hooker of the year a few times with over 135 hooks a year. That was just ntpa hooks. Then add in the years he ran the winter stadium pulls with the tractor and twd. He ran coast to coast border to border for 45+ weekends a year. Season would start early January and go till weekend before thanksgiving! John traveled as much as anybody i can remember.

Pulling like all other motorsports is a drug. Some of you are either to young, dont remember or dont know but many competitors have lost wives, familys, businesses and farms over this sport! That being said, the nature of a competitor is push the limits and keep moving foward (performance). To move forward requires tremendous amount of money and tremendous amount of time! By combining the class W

The classes are already combined now! A diesel super stock can jump in anytime the wish with the whiskey burners but they dont!! Rare occasion a couple do but its rare! So if combining the classes is the answer then why dont more do it now on a regular basis? Do we as fans expect all dss to run like colin and jodys tractor?? I know i sure dont!!! I think it is great what colin and jody did dont get me wrong BUT as a diehard diesel ss fan, i think its totally wrong to ask the competitors to combine the classes. I think its wrong to ask them to run harder. The amount of money they spend now to perform in their own class is an astronomical and the amount of time they spend maintaining the tractors is a full time job!! The purse hasnt change

That's why the crowds are so huge at antique and farm stock pulling and no one goes to bowling green.
Bowling green is undoubtly the best and biggest pull in the world. The blueshirts are second to none when it comes when it comes to putting on a event of that size! That being said, BG started out as a tractor pull and for many decades it remained as such but now its turne

The ones that don't think pulloffs are necessary clearly didn't witness Ken Veneys run in the pulloff a few years back! The crowd went crazy with excitement! I have not seen the crowd act like that before or since! Those thousands of fans that were on their feet cheering and screaming that night are CUSTOMERS or as Bill Bader Jr. Would call them " our guests"!! If you don't know wh

Longtimer, less than 1 year ago at Napoleon ohio GN DSS hook there was 10 tractors. 3 of which were state tractors. 1 from ohio and 2 from michigan. Those 3 went to help support the class and give it some numbers! Bless their hearts for doing that otherwise it would have been a 7 tractor GN class!!!! Just a couple years back there was only 3-5 at hudsonville GN Show. I had full intentions to go

Irregardless to why half the class couldn't make Saturday night session. The point is the fans got the short end of the stick. At some point the fans will turn their backs on this class or any class with low numbers and spend their entertainment $$ elsewhere! Promoters won't book a class if fans have no intrest! I live in Michigan and as a fan I've traveled to Lincoln Nebraska,

Doug Drussell built the 4010 and 5010 for Bill Williams. The 4010 was the first 4010 to get into the 5 and the 5010 was the first to get into the 7. The 4010 (Parts of it) went to Doug Roberts. The 5010 I don't know forsure where it went but this tractor showed up around NW Ohio (owned by jim dewitt) and was at the museum in BG a couple times. I asked Mr Dewitt if Drussell had a hand in this
