Agree with you Brian , we (wnypropullingseries) are switching to a close version of your rules . Do have some concerns if smaller cubes are going to be able to keep up ? Even trying a v8 with them . Were starting a little heavier for now to make it easier to get these tractors going . Do believe with these rules could be significant growth.

It is in WNY Propulling Series now just at 7000 lbs so tractors don't have to strip to get there for now maybe lower in future .

Vogel Manufacturing will regrind your stock cam very reasonable , be sure to use one with bolt in end. He will help you with the grind, you shouldn't need a billet at that rpm, call now it will take 2-3 months to get. 406 is the biggest turbo built I know of. An h1e holset would be a nice fit if you can run a turbo.

I do agree that it may need to be more clearly stated . As far as the cummins it's no different than a dt360 in a lot of IH tractors for a long time, even in NTPA. And yes a 426 can be put In an 180/190 chassis . There is one being built in the south as we speak . And yes a cummins Hamilton built head is illegal as the rule reads. So most groups do not allow a recast head? Get the dilemma I

Colorman you should read a little more carefully before you spout off. Does not say for tractor model being used it says for engine model being used ! Ie a cummins with a cummins cylinder head. Way past which engines are or are not legal here, for years not days or wks.

Yep several clubs got together and made something happen . So you get guys with Wishfuls attitude who cry boohoo so what. Things are moving forward with or without that attitude. Congrats to all who participated , our rep did a fantastic job of reporting back results of conference calls and the discussions that went on. In this sport you move forward or get left behind the numbers of tractors rep

Case ih Maxxum all had cummins orange agcos had cummins too. So thinking forward we went with heritage line as the rule with a max of an 1" adapter plate. Why use cummins because of parts availability. Also the theory of engine matching reared in tractor pulling went out the window 30 yrs ago when 686 showed upnwith 436s in them in the lss class . Not picking on any specific color either . The bi

Big money will ruin this class too. Be careful what you wish for. I agree with Lewis . 6250 is a good compromise on weight and also believe 3x4 charger is big enough and with the slots where they belong no other bs. Slots. Most turbos come with slots so should be allowed. We ran these rules at Langford this year and had a real good class with several of these proposed rules type tractors in th

The 426 should be a serious thought. The 301 block works but requires substancal maintenance, the head can be made to work 4-5000$, but still doesn't hold up long term if you are getting max power out of it. There just more to the 426 and you get 6 ports makes tuning easier. Be glad to help with what not to do too! Lol

As an outsider looking at this situation as a puller and past president of a club for 18 yrs. What a bunch of BS. Some popular tractors who already as stated make more horses than most blatantly break safety rules for an illegal competitive advantage let alone the integrity of the clubs future due to insurance violations and all you do is defend them and cry on their behalf. Shame on all of you!

Hope all you fellow LLSS pullers making the trip to WNY have safe travels, look forward to meeting all who are attending this year. Weather looks good for sat. , sun. Sounds like current tractor count is over 20 tractors. It will be a fun wknd of pulling with 10-12 different classes to be seen between the 4 organizations participating this wknd.

Yes the LLSS travel class will be Little Valley brought to you by the WNYPPS at 6250 lbs also. We will be the first class on this excellent track. Then it's about a 45 minute trip over to Langford. You can either hang out at the fair and see the BIG RIGS or head on over the the Jambore at Langford . Believe there to be camping at both places. We also have a couple of shops available if neede

Wny PPS put on the class at Langford , it was 2 of our pullers who typically weigh 6500 who struggled on lanford scales which is a little heavy. We did inform them that if you do not make 6250 you could not hook this year to be fair to everyone else. The gentleman who was injured on the wild ride has recovered well as we were informed.

So Andy , the club doesn't welcome new members ? Please explain yourself , especially since this club made a sincere effort to make a class for tractors such as yourself to compete in with rules that fit all of you and with pulls in your area not miles away. As far as this club goes total vehicle numbers are the biggest ever and with quality throughout every class. Yes we have lost a couple
